As for the creator of the thread itself, are you on crazy pills?

lol, I've no interest at all in starting a thread like this. People wish to speak of what they think is an unfair advantage for a Munster county. Seems fair to scrutinise all counties and provinces. I look to the west. Mayo stand out. What's going on up there I ask? Have they an unfair advantage or like their fellow division 1 opponent's Kerry, is it down to hard work and effort?

I recall Kerry beating Mayo in a semi-final in '11. I left Croke Park that day saying - Mayo looked good. I won't be surprised to see them challenging for an All-Ireland in the next few years. They duly made the next two All-Ireland finals. '13 being the one they'll rue the most.

When Kerry lost a semi-final in '13, they competed well in a game most people did not give them a chance in the lead up to the game. I saw enough to believe we could go one step further this year and make a final. We had a decent league despite some losses where performances were good. We had an awesome provincial final display where the cat was out of the bag. People preferred to speak of our opponents so the cat returned to the bag. Hard work got us to where we are.

As Mayo in '11 and Kerry in '13, a number of counties on exit from the championship have shown promise. I see Tyrone and Armagh coming from the north just to name two. For now we have to winter well and savour a special moment.

Very true. I think that the cat was not put back into the bag by Donegal, if there is one thing for certain, MCG would have not been complacent going into the final. There is no chance that donegal were caught on the hop in terms of underestimating kerry. I do think they were caught on the hop in the first minute, but we had plenty of time to win our money back at that stage.

Hard work is only one aspect of this all ireland. Fitzmaurice is as shrewd as they come. Lets not forget that. Also, kerry have a girth of experience on their team, and even if there was a relative transition going on down there, it was change that actually was needed and worked perfectly. (Bar Gooch's absence of course).

Cats come in and out of bags every year. I must say it is boring to listen to panelists building up teams and underplaying teams, who in all honesty have only a 50/50 chance on a given day, or a more than fighting chance if they have done their homework and then perform.

O yeah, this topic, Mayo are not using their advantage, if there is one, and if there is an advantage, how come they havent won an all ireland in 60 odd years and kerry have won the guts of 20.
