Cavan's ....... Big Chance

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Where I get nervous on occasion facing Cavan, it's not the same as Tyrone. I always believe we can beat Cavan, even when the game is tight (bizarrely). I guess that's just the generation of Monaghan supporter that I am where I have never really seen a great Cavan side to fear.
They do stand a decent chance of making the Ulster final. Its certainly better than it has been in the last few years but they would need to dramatically improve to make that final and win it.

It would require them to up their game to beat us and then any one of Donegal, Derry, Armagh, Tyrone or Down…. I can't see it unless they really step it up.

It is true though, anything can happen in the Ulster championship…..

well I have seen these cavan u -21 teams both against galway and other matches
and I allways felt they played a style of football that never gave them a chance to progress
they have good footballers but not allowed to express themselves
they need to be more positive they have a good draw for sure
but only if they develop their game
