2013, muck! Considering what those two counties produced last September I had to laugh being on here over the last week and seeing some Dublin and Mayo posters harping on because Kerry didn't serve up more attacking football in one final.

Let he who is without sin....

I'd proffer that it was a better game than this year's final, and a lot more attacking, even if it wasn't a great final. Congrats on your victory nonetheless.

Still sucking lemons I see yank, you can worry about the ascetics we play enough pretty football to give us the right to squeeze out the odd big game by playing a little conservative.

2013 was still a crap match but I don't consider Dublin unworthy champions because of it unlike what some bitter sods on this website are throwing at Kerry!!

1910 All Ireland football final. It was the only final that was awarded as a walk over. Louth was giving the title after the Kerry team refused to travel because the rail company refuced to reduce train ticket prices for the Kerry fans. I think myself that Kerry was just afraid to play Louth.

What you are after saying about not being worried about pleasing the neutrals as long as SAM is in Kerry ::::: did we not hear similar before from Our JIM.
Hitting back at Spillane after the 2011 v DUBLIN semi final when we go training in Castlefinn in Jan/Feb we won't be worried about pleasing Spillane or anybody else for that matter.

Now it's one thing playing Jim's style of football in an all Ireland final but to more or less take from some of his quotes is another thing.

Now GALWAY v DUBLIN that day was a terrible advert for Gaelic football. Worst game I saw. But Roscommon v Kerry in 1980 was not very good either.

The 2013 final was disappointing alright. I had high hopes for a a cracker. The capital had wing backs bombing forward all year. Mayo were the same. I was expecting a shoot-out. It was all set-up for a classic final but did not deliver. The way it goes.
