Looks like it's Connelly and Holmes. roundball (Tipperary) - Posts: 2514 - 20/09/2014 18:21:25 1654280 Link 0 |
Looks like Connelly has been given the job. Fairly predictable really. McStay was never going to be given a fair crack at it despite his record. Mcstay only used to make it appear as if it was a two horse race when it never really was. Emmet001 (Westmeath) - Posts: 15 - 20/09/2014 18:43:13 1654285 Link 0 |
Well it appears it's Connelly so not sure if that's a popular choice with Mayo fans. Will he improve on Horan's efforts? SLLY (Dublin) - Posts: 463 - 20/09/2014 21:06:17 1654350 Link 0 |
Delighted for Noel....great respect for him. Maybe I'm a bit biased being from the same club. I know the Mayo team rate him highly. Homes head of bad room team and keeping donie Buckley is huge news. I wish them all the best and will be right behind them. Lots of Mayo fans seem unhappy alright. First South Mayo manager of Mayo I believe. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11232 - 21/09/2014 09:53:49 1654380 Link 0 |
Emmet, why do you think McStay was never gonna get a crack of the whip? GreenandRed (Mayo) - Posts: 7346 - 21/09/2014 10:37:26 1654399 Link 0 |
Ya realdub I'm very happy. Noel was captain of team when we won national league in 01 and pat was manager, they managed u21s to all ireland in 06. Noel involved with development panels in the county and manages his own club team who are in co inter semi at the moment. Pat brought Castlebar to all ireland club final last year.
