Give the game a chance. If the last 10 minutes is anyways exctiting it will go down as a classic. ZUL10 (Clare) - Posts: 693 - 21/09/2014 16:20:28 1654483 Link 0 |
Terrible game so far.. handling atrocious by both teams, wides, etc. awful muck. This is the future, I'm afraid. Teams that want to play football watching at home today.. JimmyK (Dublin) - Posts: 240 - 21/09/2014 16:23:45 1654485 Link 0 |
Tough on the eyes, ref is incredible 10 frees to Donegal, one to Kerry!! Hopefully 2nd is better than 1st. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4897 - 21/09/2014 16:27:08 1654486 Link 0 |

borefest. is james o'donoghue playing. I know it is a final, nerves and all that and mass defence is the order lf the day but if this is what football is about omg. kiloughter (Galway) - Posts: 1947 - 21/09/2014 16:39:45 1654493 Link 0 |
Game is picking up now, there is a lot of tension but not a whole lot else. Donegal need a goal, McBreaty is playing well but its all breaking down in last third. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4897 - 21/09/2014 16:53:37 1654495 Link 0 |
Shame on Kerry serving up that tripe. StopTheLights (Galway) - Posts: 343 - 21/09/2014 17:06:12 1654498 Link 0 |
better team won. the unsporting act by keane at the end not nice from a neutral perspective. kiloughter (Galway) - Posts: 1947 - 21/09/2014 17:06:33 1654500 Link 0 |
Donegal like Dublin paid a heavy price for pumped up expectation. Well done Kerry winning a shocking game, hard luck Donegal. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4897 - 21/09/2014 17:06:36 1654501 Link 0 |
Feel sorry for Mayo, they would have been champions today if it wasn't for the all those non-frees in the semi-final. Possibly the third best team in Ireland has won it, but that is what you get in a cup knock-out competition. county man (Limerick) - Posts: 1102 - 21/09/2014 17:07:59 1654503 Link 0 |
Ger canning pointing out the difference between Gaelic and Basketball summed up the game we had. 340 passes and a horrible mistake by the goalie being the difference in the end. It doesnt give ma any pleasure congtualating Kerry on their 37th Allireland but for the sake of the future of the game I am delighted they won. The only good thing about that match is that it didn't end in a draw. Gaillimh_Abu (Galway) - Posts: 996 - 21/09/2014 17:09:43 1654505 Link 0 |
Congrats to Kerry, a well deserved victory. It is unfortunate Kerry had to resort to Donegal style tactics but it was the only way to defeat Mcguinness and co. I think Donegal has been found out, Armagh gave indication of how to play Donegal, Dublin gave indication how not to play Donegal. Kerry with better footballers mirrored Donegal and as a result they are All Ireland Champs. I dont think we will see Donegal lifing Sam for a very long time Game2Halves (Tyrone) - Posts: 265 - 21/09/2014 17:10:11 1654506 Link 0 |
Donaghy's message to Joe Brolly is easily the GAA highlight of the year. bob_dolphin (Limerick) - Posts: 694 - 21/09/2014 17:12:57 1654509 Link 0 |
