Holy Mackerel, me nerves!! Can't wait to get work out of the road very soon and go for a run this evening or something. Few pints then tomorrow night and a few before the game Sunday. I won't BS and sit on the fence, i think we'll do it with 4 points to spare. At the same time there are so many variables that can impact on a big final, nerves and tension being the biggest, which is where i feel Kerry hold an advantage. All Ireland Final's are almost in the DNA down there. They expect to be there and win, even feel it is their right - an attitude that Counties with huge tradition have in them. And they can play as well, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the Kingdom come out on top either, even though i feel we have a wee bit more at this particular moment. Love sport even though it kills me sometimes. May the best team win!!

We'd all like to be looking forward to our team running out in an AI final on Sunday but for the rest of us it'll have to wait for next year.Hope it's a game worthy of the occasion and may the best team win.

A player from Donegal not getting mentioned or getting much attention is Odhrán Mac Niallais. An unsung hero from Donegal that could make a big impression come Sunday. This man is a tremendous athlete and a box to box player who can score. Mac Niallais won man of the match in the Ulster semi-final and in the Quarter-final against Armagh I thought he had an epic game (scored a brilliant goal which proved vital) and was my man of the match even though Michael Murphy got the TV award - not one to be ignored!

As for the game itself - I believe Kerry can win this game once they prevent Donegal from scoring a goal (this is the key)- Donegal won't outscore Kerry with points alone.

At the end of the day to call a spade a spade, Donegal have a very difficult defence to break down. They conceded only one goal in three Ulster championship games. They've only conceded one goal in the All-Ireland series so far.

Donegal's attack then is awesome. They're deadly like. They scored 3-16 in an Ulster semi-final and 3-14 in an All-Ireland semi-final. Donegal have the capability to score a couple of goals within a couple of minutes at any stage of a game turning a game on it's head.

It's a major challenge ahead of the Kingdom. Donegal are going to be a very difficult opponent no doubt. Some on here from Donegal funnily enough have outlined the best approach for Kerry, whether it is being telegraphed or not. Hopefully Kerry have a few players who can bring the keys to the house. Ciarrai abu!

Mrs MuckrossHead has gone to her mothers taking the children with her & the dog is hiding under the stairs.

Muckrosshead you might hear from them after 5.10 pm for them to give you your answer, our belief in our ability and in our tradition gives us our belief, what gives you your belief, if you don't have belief, what do you have, you have a loser, so enough of the thinly veiled hubris, coming from a county with 36 all-Irelands entitles one to harbour confidence in ones team, it will be a monumental achievement to overcome Donegal but we have to believe, without it you will win nothing.

I think Kerry are going to win this by 4 pts star is going to have a massive game I feel and cause the donegal full back line awful trouble with Geaney stepping up and showing his class. This is probably Marc and Aidan's last game and I expect them to both have stormers. Best of luck to the Kerry Minors and Seniors tomorrow and safe travelling to all those around the country!!

Muckrosshead, I don't really have any interest in what any group of supporters previously thought about Donegal. Everyone can form their own view. It's not as though you haven't been beaten over the last 4 years -you'ld hardly call it a dynasty.

Ive seen plenty of teams come and go over the last 20 or 30 years but there's always one constant - they've always lost eventually.
