In terms of Pubs In Limerick been used to GAA clad supporters hard to know , Limerick city wouldn't be the most GAA part of the world with many pubs patchy enough showing GAA , Rugby & soccer are big sports in the city whilst Hurling would have a big audience too but football has a low profile although the 2 senior teams in the east of the city Monaleen & st Pats doing their best. Near the ground The Ardhu, Greenhills & Woodfield House are your choices, all good venues , Na piarsaigh clubhouse is close by too and bound to be a big GAA crowd there...in the city any of the Flannerys chain, Patsy Nicholas's, The Orchard nightclub & peter Clohessys would be good spots for a GAA person.

dont send him to orchard nightclub haha full of kids he be locked up.
is clohessys the same place as sin bin? wouldnt have ever imagined gaa crowd in there although it be one of the first places
you would hit coming from the ennis road
smyths is a great bar for any under30tys going out after
they always have a good band on then a nightclub upstairs after

Match tickets for stand and terraces still available on-line: surprised by that, to be honest. Has the hype about potential travel difficulties put some fans off? Michael Ring went completely over the top in his criticism today- you'd think people had to travel by ass and cart. Galway to Limerick, with motorway from Gort, is little over an hour. It would probably take longer to get to Croke park!!

stand tickets be nearly gone by now
terraces always last to go due to the weather at the moment but should be full house come saturday.
yeah motorway is good but they catch an awful lot of people out at the exit off it for the gaelic grounds
they have a toal bridge placed on that road and people think they avoid it until they come up the slip road and they have toals
here as you exit it.
if coming from mayo take the exit at the radisson hotel as it will bring you onto the ennis road without having to fork
out 1.90 unneccessarly

The Minister was out of line today. It is all motorway from Gort. I am shocked that there is plenty of stand tickets available online at tickets.ie. Are fans waiting for the final which annoy me.

Crowds are usually down for replays. The tickets available online are for the terrace. All stand tickets were going through the clubs. I'll be surprised if it is not near a sell-out. Tickets are usually selling up until matchday for these games.

Tickets for terrace and both stands are available again on Tickets.ie. Some county did not use up its allocation as this Tuesday only Terrace tickets were available. The minister for Sport is a gombeen after his interview yesterday. He made the Healy Rea's look like statesmen. If Mayo were playing in Galway how would they get through the traffic in Tuam I wonder. The one piece of advice I would give to Mayo supporters is to make sure to take the EXIT for Caherdavin / Limerick IT / Thomand Park / Gaelic Grounds ( and watch out for the speed van just before the exit ) After that exit go as far as the 3rd roundabout and then Park in Tesco, housing estate or the hard shoulder if you turn right at that roundabout. Na Piarsaigh GAA club and Greenhills hotel are also in that area. That roundabout is your way back after the match and you are back on the dual carriage way and on your way home. The Gaelic Grounds is actually an excellent venue for any West of Ireland County as it as a motorway beside it. Now stop complaining and enjoy the day.

Looking forward to heading into Croker tomorrow to see the American Football game.
Something different and a new experience to see it live.

GAA should have had made arrangements though for a possible semi final replay to be played in Croke Park though.
Other dates could have been earmarked at the start of the year for such an eventuality.
Foresight and planning is a wonderful thing...!

The Gaelic grounds is looking super today. I stopped in for a look this morning and the nitrogen put down earlier in the week is working..The grass is blue. You Connacht guys wont know yourselves with ye being more used to daisys and dandelions on your pitches..
Jokes aside Junior minster Ring is scaremongering. Referencing a traffic jam for a semi in 1909 as a reason to be fearfull. Come on guys this is Irelands 3rd city with a history of Munster finals,European cup rugby matches year on year.Sure its a big deal but this is nothing Limerick cant handle..

Regarding pubs.. Theres some hidden gems around the city centre and the roads out to the gaelic grounds.. near the train station theres the "Imperial"..upper William street has the "Roundhouse",Geraldine bar is nearby..Try the "Moose" on Catherine place. Finally over thomond bridge the "North Star is after being refurbished..

Ok, time to park this red card stuff I think and concentrate on the game. It isn't doing anyone any favours. These two counties produced the game of the year to date, so I think that it is time we started looking forward to the prospect of a repeat. I am glad to see there is a marked reduction in talk of what happens to mayo when faced with Kerry on here this time around, as I found that a bit disrespectful to the team.

Do people think the two teams named will start?

Can you imagine - there would be some fall-out if that were to happen..

No is the answer
We'll manage fine without "hawkeye". N9t needed for football once umpires are up to scratch.

Mayo trained in Gaelic grounds this evening. The pitch is in perfect condition. I am shocked that there are still tickets available. Hope the fans that travel tomorrow get there there all ireland tickets over people who decided to stay away.

I still do not like Hawkeye saying miss instead of wide.
And I don't like the match bumped out of CP.

But I do like Kerry to win by 2.
