Hard to pick Kerry's best ever player, I'd go for the Gooch, he's the best with the ball anyway imo. Maurice Fitz probably scored more wonder scores but the Gooch looks like gaelic football was designed for him to play it.

Maybe more skillful and graceful, but Cavanagh is possibly the best all-round, most complete player to ever play the game. He won player of the year at full-forward and was/immense in midfield, even tho the half-forward line is his natural position. the man has every attribute needed for Gaelic Football.

Mick O'Connell was the most stylish footballer I ever saw play.
If I was told I could pick a Kerry team to compete tomorrow the first player I would pick would be Jack O'Shea.
