2007 and last year for us were great in recent times. 2002 was a fantastic year with sligo nd armagh the stories of the champ. A ray cosgrove inspired dublin and gooch inspired kerry. Who could forget the scenes after armagh won their first ever final...

Probably 2005. Although it was one of the worst years ever for donegal football, it was one of the best ever finals, involving kerry and tyorne. The semi final that year involving armagh v tyrone was the best game of football I ever saw. There were 3 massive teams peaking at the same time that year, and any one of the 3 of them could have won sam. It was a bob of a head on the line that won it for tyrone that year, it could just have easily been kerry or armagh for that mater. Good times and great football.
