:-) Smiley for you MEs!

Ballaghman, do you seriously think that Vinnies have 40 players on their senior panel who just train and would not lower themselves to play other than senior :-)

Ulsterman what the hell was that statement about .playing against the officials as well' about?!! In my opinion that referee gave some disgraceful decisions against Stacks, the Slaughtneil players were hanging off them all days. In the second half Stacks should have had at least 3-4 frees from jersey pulls. And the Slaughtneil goal should have been blown up for, the lad took about 9 steps!!

Any obviously I'm a little biased, was really hoping Stacks would get through thought the had a great chance of winning the thing outright and it would be great for Star!

clondalkindub Why would i do that? He would be the most consistent forward around if he did that. In regards to the final Corofin should win it by at least 6 points.

I think Slaughtneil will give Corofin plenty of it in the final. Should be a good game.

Show me a player in any sport that doesn't have an off day? Judging him on games were we hammer teams is a bit weak IMO. Anyway really looking forward to the final I think Corofin will win aswell.

square ball
If you can't understand how finance makes a difference on your own no amount of explaining will make you understand. Being able to have a physio, gym, floodlights, playing pitches and look after players expenses will obviously help a club. Your comment was senseless.
Donaghy is a freak. Unbelievably hard to handle at club level. Stacks look way more dangerous.

yeah and most clubs in dublin hadnt even got their own ground up till the last ten years never mind any the other stuff
where as most clubs in the middle of nowhere could afford a stand for their own club ground

gaa lover

he didnt go missing he was broguht back into his own half to try win ball and was playing all over the place
vincents from 1-15 were woeful in most things with the ball yesterday
trying to single one guy out who had played some superb football for a year straight as incosistent
is childish stuff.
its a different year nothing stays the same castlebar deserved to win connaught reach the final
and vincents deserved to win the all ireland last year
this year is not the same corifin deserved to win yesterday as they played better simple as
nobody stands still teams play different each year
no need to have childish nonsense
why not pick out some good points from corifins game instead of slating the other teams
its all too negative from you

I watched the game with a Corkman who would have no love for Kerry trust me.. and even he thought the refereeing was desgraceful

why did the ref blow for the first penalty today
the play developed and 3 seconds later stacks had the ball in the net
why have an advantage rule and not use it?
yet in parnell park today barry kelly several times signalled he was playing advantage
yet the rule dont exist in hurling

It is good to see them in the final but it's a pity Derry club players don't show that amount of passion playing for the county these days.

hill16no1man childish is not able to take in my views on board that Connolly is inconsistent but if you don't want to take my word for it then check the fact and figures as they speak for themselves.

Castlebar without a doubt were lucky to win Connacht last year as a matter of fact its doubtful if they would have got out of Mayo if C O Connor was fit. Their most impressive win all year was against overrated Dr Crokes side that lost their best player early to injury they were then out of depth in All Ireland final. I never said St Vincents didn't deserve to win the All Ireland last year however they didn't play any side in All Ireland series of the quality of Corofin on route to that success.

Castlebar beat Corofin last year, Gaa lover, and Vins beat castlebar. Where does that leave your argument?

Very good point. That's what frustrates players, when refs interpret the rules to suit themselves. That was clearly evident in Parnell Park yesterday, and not for the first time.

Gaa lover, if Corofin are good enough to win the All Ireland then they are going to have to beat the best team in it, and that is the Derry team. I've said this going back to before the Ulster final, some of it on this thread. They are excellent value at 7/2.

how is he inconsistent because you simply looked up some stats on what he scored in a few games
he was by far the most consistent performer in 2014
he may not have always kicked the lights out but he made most of mossy quinns goals for vincents
his passing in the leinster run was worth the entrance fee alone for the precision of some of the long balls
also its laughable that you say donegal of all teams made connolly look good by giving him the freedom of croke park.
castlebar won connaught last year deservedly they didnt win it this year because other teams played better
now your classing vincents all ireland win as mediocre because you reckon they didnt play corifin haha
give it up man

exactly westisthebest
I would also love to hear hughes reasoning behind not blowing for the corifin defender diving on the goal bound shot on the ground
nobody ever seems to put pressure on refs after games to explain why they did or didnt make clear cut calls

Until there is a forum to clarify contentious refereeing decisions we are always going to have managers and players getting into trouble for speaking out. Either allow County Boards to ask for explanations or get a spokesman for refs to explain themselves. It's so frustrating for players and spectators watching some refs behave like dictators.

i think what people are missing here is that
corofin had to play out of their skins to beat a great st vincents team
and corofin are a serious team for sure
anything less and vincents would win
congrats to both teams for agreat game
