Two things learnt today. Corofin a different level to Castlebar last year and D Connolly remains one of the most inconsistent players in Ireland however he does look great when given the freedom of the field.

Two more club All-Irelands to Kerry today. Ardfert and Brosna . Must be some feeling going back to your home parish with an All-Ireland cup.

that has to be the worst attempt at a dig ever
connolly was the most consistent player in the country from last january in the club semi final
all the way to the leinster final at the end of december
he performed in every game for dublin and vincents
he kicked three points yesterday the first was another reason how he makes it look so easy.
instead of having a dig at castlebar and connolly wouldnt it be nice to point out something good about corifin?

Know a lad who plays on Vincent's second team, he told me there is 40 players on the 1st team panel who do not play for the second team so they do have an advantage in their playing population over most teams. But there are also some big towns in Ireland with only one club team like Castlebar and Portlaois. I would also say clubs like Vincents have superior Finances and would be on a par with county teams like Leitrim as would all big club teams in Dublin. That been said Vincent's played great football the last few years and deserved all their success.

Posters please explain what advantages to club teams what finance has? You can buy more cones for training drills? Or you can buy more balls so everyone has there own ball?

If you can't understand how finance makes a difference on your own no amount of explaining will make you understand. Being able to have a physio, gym, floodlights, playing pitches and look after players expenses will obviously help a club. Your comment was senseless.
Donaghy is a freak. Unbelievably hard to handle at club level. Stacks look way more dangerous.

A dig?

Connolly was marked by rookie U21 defender yesterday who has yet to line out for Galway seniors in the NFL or championship. Connolly scored 0-2 from play and when they needed him most he went missing. When given the freedom of the park like in last year All Ireland final he can shoot the lights out but if he's the most consistent player as you claim he is then why was he also held to 0-1 from play against Portlaoise,GarryCastle,Rhode while scored highly in one of the Dublin club games. He's the same with Dublin last summer held to low scores by Laois,Wexford then scored freely against Donegal that is inconsistent.

In regards to Castlebar they were lucky to even get out of Connacht last year while Corofin stroll through it. Corofin display against Vincents yesterday compared to Castlebar last March was a different level.

No digs just stating facts.

Gaa lover if he scored for fun against laois Wexford Meath and didn't score against Donegal you'd still be having a go , the man scored 4 of the best points you'll ever see in Croke Park last summer against the meanest defence in Gaa history give the man a break.

Well done Slaughtneil who were playing against Stacks and the officials at times. Also well done to O'Donovan Rossa of Belfast who won the All Ireland Intermediatehurling title against Kilburn in Croke Park. Great boost for the GAA in Belfast.
