i hope kerry fans are not waiitng to travel for the final
rather than travel to the semi
as in years past

they might be waiting for a while
was looking at the age profile of lot of the kerry players
lot more of the old reliables will be gone soon
basicaly there will be a huge team building job there

Well lads I was listening to terrace talk this evening and weeshie had Colm o'neill ( cork legend and one of my favorite players at the moment) and fergal O'Donnell ( Roscommon minor manager and a desperate nice fella always) on the show and they both tipped mayo to win against our selfs on Sunday in the senior, and fergal fancys the mayo minors to shade the minor game as well, can't argue with their opinions in fairness but I still fancy our minors to scrape through. I think my self Mayos expierence to see them through in the senior game I just hope if they beat us that they finaly win the allireland or we won't see them for another 10 years. The physiological damage 3 in a row allireland final defeats would cause would be serious IMO.

1638571 Must be a big crowd going up, only tickets County Board had left today were for upper tiers, saw Sheehan walking around Festival today in Tralee doesn't look like there's a bother on him, An Riocht Abu!!

What did ye expect, him to be shaking with nerves as walked around .

Well it was rare enough sight seeing anyone in the maroon in Croker 2 weeks ago for Q-final, so not sure where your going with that one. Plenty of Kerry people will be in HQ on Sunday, don't you worry. Think the rebuilding process is nearing completion and if there is any man to complete the job its Fitzy!

Think Mayo will win. Very impressed with them especially the period after half time vCork their tackling was serious , turned over a lot of ball but kinda faded in the last ten minutes. Can't judge Kerry yet but they might be better than I thought earlier in the year.
Still if Kerry were to win and Donegal beat Dublin then we would have the FINAL P Spillane would not want to see After reading the Sunday world yesterday imagine JOD and CO coming up against the Cavemen. Now could you imagine it. ???

Sam
if we can get to the final it would be miraculous and I'd be over the moon, I wouldn't even mind meeting yer self if that was the case. To puke or not to puke that is the question?

Your not wrong there pal, but I think this is Kerry's worst team since the early 90's.

All the focus on this match has been on weather Mayo can cover James O Donaghue enough to win. The bigger issue is have Kerry the Legs to stay with Mayo in the middle third. If your cleaning out a team in midfield you don't really have to worry about the fullback line.

Mayo do need to surprise Kerry a bit. I would change the full forward line - put in Sweeney and Freeman and test the legs of Mark O Shea and Aiden O Mahony. Moran and Dillon haven't the speed to do that.

We only need to get about 40 mins out of Aidan and Marc then we'd have the likes of Crowley and griffen and Kilkenny to come in as reinforcement , looking at things again our bench ain't bad, we have Moran Crowley griffen Kilkenny bj Keane Mikey geaney Kieran o'leary Not bad at all.

I'll put it simple guys, Kerry will win this, the real test will be Dublin , shades of '55 and '75 and I would even go further it would even surpass those all- Irelands if Kerry were to win but that just proves the magnitude they would have to surpass to win but as regards to mayo if we have any aspirations or sense of where we are at the moment with our progress then we should beat Mayo, one thing is we will respect them but one thing as sure as god we will not fear them, ciarrai abu.

Kerry are confident but I don't know why. They have been playing well but the oppositions have been shown to be fairly average. Mayo were awful in their quarter final and would expect a much better showing from them in this game. I think Mayo will have too much physicality for this Kerry team. They will bully them in most quarters, play a blanket defence to close up the space for JOD et al and will get enough scores at the other end to win by 2 or 3 in a low scoring affair.

Now now saddam that's a bit rich coming from ye, if you count the league as a yard stick, well then what ever floats your boat, lets wait until sunday and by the way we don't do trailor trash, it's just we don't fear Mayo, simple as.

We both played cork and galway are kerry seemed more comfortable! Think kerry have plenty of options around the middle and centre and full back to cope with mayo, dont think aidan o m will start! We are a better team than mayo, simple as! Kerry will win this one, too many quality players for mayo to handle!

Tir Conaill Abu, can I ask which of the four teams left has really played a team so far that hasn't shown itself to be average.

Kerry annihilated Cork little over a month ago and despite Cork's problems they are a far superior side to likes of the Meath's, Armagh's Monagahan's the rest have meet.

Is a 12 point win over Cork more impressive than a 1 point win over them or a 16 point win over the likes of Monaghan or Meath, I'd certainly think so!
