It's not surprising all talk is of Dublin Region v Mayo final. No qualms about it.

Horan has made a few switches this year , Higgins back to defence , A O'Shea to centre half forward and Vaughan to mid , jurys still out on all three in my view , Kerry game will tell a a lot , I expect them to beat the Kingdom

You are spot on kid, it's hard to see anything other than a mayo victory and if that's the case I won't be complaining , I know our team is a year away from challenging the mayos and donegals and dubs, this is all about game time at Croker for our young lads , get them used to it for next year. Kerry for Sam 2015.

The gamble is whether a team which is geared more and more towards taking on the Dubs overcome another top team? We won't need the same mobility around midfield v Kerry, so where Donal Vaughan plays will be interesting.

Mayo will beat Kerry by a point or two. Dublin will beat Donegal by 7 or 8 points. Then we will be set for a repeat of last years final.
I will forecast the correct result of the Final when the pairings are confirmed.

Kingdomboy Abe Lincoln is lucky he didnt have you as a general in his army to wave the white flag or else slavery could still be in use in america!

A bit more positivity is needed and it will be an even 50/50 game but I would be confident in Kerry's history of overcoming Mayo that we should come out on top by a point or two

Speaking of positivity. Myself and wife and child are off to London on the morning of the match. If any of ye could arrange an ash cloud for about 8 the morning of the match I'd be more than grateful!

I'm with Woops.. We have one of the top 3 managers in the country shrewd would be an understatement... I honestly believe we will be scrambling for tickets in 2 weeks

I hope your right, it's just tough to see what Eamon can do in midfield to improve things from the Galway game where we were practically wiped out in the breaks, but if there is away I'm sure he'l find it.

I see we got Dave coldrick as reff for the simi next week , I hope he does a better job then he did on our league game against Dublin where he have some very poor decisions against us after he black carded the dub full back. Also they must be saving joe mcquillan for the final.

imagine the reaction of the GAA big wigs if they are indeed saving McQuillan for the final and Dublin don't get past Donegal!

Its time we beat Kerry again....god know we owe them for all the beatings we have taken from them:

1997 Final
2004 Final
2005 Quarter Final
2006 Final
2011 Quarter final
2014 Time to step up..

That would be gas for sure, but to be honest I'd say the GAA will be safe out with that 1 :-) yew tree I didn't realise how many times we have actually beaten ye till you put it down in black and white, jays that's scary although ye did beat us in 96, and people allways say that mayo allways have one big game in them maybe Kerry will be that game this year kiddo.

Kerry v Mayo normally a game Id pass off as a walkover to the kingdom , normally be right off to the bookies collect if Ive got the spread right .Not so sure now , player for player Mayo edge it for me , take James O out of the Kerry attack and they will struggle , Mayo DO have resilience they are back in another semi final .
Scenarios go round and round in my head , if Mayo leave gaps and allow the kerry lads to run at them they could be in trouble , however if Kerry fall asleep as they have been doing for a twenty minute spell they might not like where they are when they wake up , put a gun to my head I say nothing in it Mayo stronger in last ten minutes to go through .Am genuinely looking forward to it .

For me Mayo are further ahead with more experienced players ,who have been trained and conditioned as a unit under Horan for longer than the Kerry boys who are really only finding their feet under Fitzmaurice. Mayo really should seize this opportunity and win . Although a young Kerry team can never be written off and if they do win it would be a great victory for the management skills of Fitzmaurice. Horan has to win this after the money that has been spent in the county on getting the team to this level off competiveness. Horan has brought Mayo on leaps and bounds and are now consistently a top 4 county . But he really has to make his mark now. Fitzmaurice can afford to lose this Horan can't.
