Kerry will definitely win this now with that red card for Mayo.
Wasn't a red card but was a yellow

Pure stupidity by Lee Keegan to kick out like that. The ref was right to send him off. Mayo are really up against it now.

Another referee ruining a good enough game.
Biggest problem in the GAA is poor refereeing and I have been saying this for many years now.
No two of them refereeing in the same manner.
Never a sending off.

Well now

Sending off first, looked harsh but probably technically correct.
Kerry by far the better side, Mayo very poor and if O'Connor is their best forward on the field today god help them, he's really let Mayo down.

Still, only HT and surely Mayo can do better than this!

It was absolutely a red card. Rules say you can't attempt to strike another player, Keegan did just that. Sorry Lee, Goodnight Irene!

David Moran is having an outstanding game, showing great leadership and kicked two great points. JO'D hasn't been in it a lot, getting stifled, but it hasn't really made much of a difference. Kerry are just more clinical.

Before the harsh sending off comments come..... didnt Cluxton see red for a harmless tap in the league?

Exact same really..... consistency says straight red.

He hasn't ruined the game. Biggest problem is not poor refereeing its the system. The GAA needs a sin bin or something that will counter cynical fouling.
Refereeing consistency isn't great but its very difficult to when theyre not aided by the rules of the sports gaelic especially

What difference does that make. Technically correct decision.

Kerry are miles a better football team. More talent all over the field.

Larry Tompkins was dead right. Let's see what Mayo are made of now. Pure stupidity to get that red card. Down a man with a second half to play. Champion teams have done it in the past. Kerry, Meath, Dublin back the years have all won down a man. If Mayo have the talent and bottle they claim to have they'll win this.

I'm sorry, but that red was a disgraceful decision. You see a lot worse got away with.Mayo have being very poor and Kerry have being ok,but that has just ruined a possible interesting second half.

Nailed on red. Rules are rules. Moment of madness from keegan still i expect if mayo win the card will be overturned. The difference as always with mayo is that they lack leaders. Who's going to grab the lads by the scruff and take it to kerry? Moran leading kerry at the minute having a stormer. Really hope mayo dont let the heads drop.

Cant believe the level of respect Horan gave to Kerry in the first half with his tactics. Does he not have faith in what his own players can do.

Very soft red but come on posters you know you can't raise your foot like that he had to go.

Not even a decision you'd have to think about. Red card hands down. The player takes all the blame in this case. His decision to lash out. Only one result after that.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of the sending off, Mayo have to go for broke, not sure what game plan they had with 15, but they are going to have to tear it up and go for it. Every time they run at that Kerry defence they look like scoring. They can still do it, first few scores are critical.

Regardless of force used by lee keegan the rules are there for a reason as a previous poster stated about Cluxton getting a red earlier in the year you can't kick out at another player it's the same as interfering with a players helmet a la Podge Collins earlier in the year . Everybody gAve out about that but it was the correct decision
