Frustrating game, if it was not for Galways poor shooting we could be looking at an excellent contest. Great goals, excellent fielding with all kick-outs contested, some great defending and Kerry are very efficient in front of goal. Soma (UK) - Posts: 2630 - 03/08/2014 14:41:28 1630574 Link 0 |
Aidan o Mahoney is an awful liability at full back we saw glimpses today of how easily he can exposed. He will be badly exposed in the semi final and final if we progress. Time to try someone else at full back. Traleenative (Kerry) - Posts: 44 - 03/08/2014 14:45:58 1630581 Link 0 |

I get the impression you had that post written before the game JP. Teams that play defensively generally don't concede goals from a lad on a 80 yard run. Sit back and enjoy the skills on show. Shane Walsh has scored 2 frees from 40+ yards, one off his right and one of his left, an incredible level of ability. 2 points in it now as well. Honestly the mistakes Galway are making you wouldn't see in a junior b game clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 03/08/2014 15:19:30 1630612 Link 0 |
This match will be good in the long term for kerry if they progress, for the fact that Aidan o Mahoney hs been exposed and the kerry management have seen this is great news. Mahoney isn't up to scratch and shouldn't be starting for kerry. The quarter final is always kerrys poorest game of the year after a Long lay off and they were never going to get motivated for this game. They will be slaughtered by kerry fans and the media after this game. Ideal for damping down expectations. I Traleenative (Kerry) - Posts: 44 - 03/08/2014 15:20:33 1630613 Link 0 |

Galway had heard of james o donoghoe before ? Unbelievable the marking .or lack of , havent enjoyed couple of lads going to ground very easy from both teams . Damothedub (Dublin) - Posts: 5193 - 03/08/2014 15:28:28 1630620 Link 0 |

You would have to think that if Mayo have anything about them this year they will stroll to the final. Kerry very poor and if Galway truly believed today they could have won that match. Naysayer (Antrim) - Posts: 2071 - 03/08/2014 15:37:57 1630630 Link 0 |
Not bad from Galway but too naive, Kerry would have struggled against a good team today, but they're through so watch out :D realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8592 - 03/08/2014 15:39:55 1630633 Link 0 |
