commentary is better on sky i would have to say..only person i really like on rte for commentary is darragh maloney and he doesnt get enough games

yeah commentary and analysis was better today. Moloney is great but as you say has to take a back seat too often.

Arock I agree. Sky pay bigger money for the matches than TV3 will and ultimately it means more people are forced to go to games. It's like the idea the GAA have of refusing to not let any more games on TV.

Jimbo I respect your views but to call their set up cheapis just wrong. Last year and the few before RTE had their panel out in the elements (often bad) doing the pre/HT/FT analysis under an umbrella. Sky actually made an effort and brought a proper studio around the country.

If you want to see 3 old men have a pub type chat watch RTE. If you want analysis watch sky. However I enjoy the hurling pub chat on RTE because it's always positive unlike the football with brolly and spillane.
