Its in there if they look for it

That could be said for many sports teams across the world, I just don't think sport and the mind is that simple!

That is only partially true. He should get the road. he should quit. With all the Sigerson Cup finals that our players have won and competed in over the years (as well as Munster 21 victories), if they cannot get 15 players to at least perform, then he should not be the coach.

The team look a little lost now. In the league, we had some good wins playing a lot more direct ball into our forwards. As a result the likes of Brian Hurley were doing fierce damage.

One bad second half performance later (against Dublin in the league semi-final) and suddenly it is press the panic button. We did not know how to deal with Tipperary lined up in Munster semi final so we reverted and played into their hands by being slow and lethargic.

The Munster final was worse. There was no system at all. It was handpass the ball around the midfield, followed by the obvious mistake and surrender of possession when bemused players didn't know what the end product of all the handpassing was.

In Brian Hurley we have two-footed talented full forwards. He needs to be our focus. It is hard for defenders to stop two-footed players when they are close to goal as they can turn either way. However, you can make it easier for them by being as slow as possible in giving them the ball and making them head out to the sideline 45 metres from the goal to collect the ball. Cork went for that option. Hurley ended up scoreless- no surprise.

In the second half of the Munster final- one ball came down between Colm O'Neill and Marc O Se, down in the corner by the covered stand side. O'Neill wins it and turns O'Se, sees another Kerry defender so turns back, with no Cork player in support he attempts to kick it, O Se (who should have been left trailing in his wake) blocks him down-cue massive roar from the Kerry crowd. In a sense that summed up the game, Kerry had cohesion and team work, they supported their best players and allowed them to inspirational things. We on the other hand were utterly clueless and did everything to play ourselves out of the game.

Hopefully Cubby has something prepared for Sunday. If he has then all can be forgotten. If not, he should quit in my own opinion.

Looking at the football rankings with puzzlement.... Mayo are the side with the most intact record of August performance since 2011. Why does the writer suggest otherwise? Our problems have all come in Sept... but we've made it to Sept. We don't do September!

Cork for me , they still have better forwards than Mayo and I think Mayo might not be as good as last year Would question where to put AO Shea , also the brother Seamus as I don't know about them being Mayo's best midfield partnership. This is Mayo's fourth championship year now and I don't know if they can improve on what they done over the last few seasons. I think Cork will make the Semi final alright

I am usually fairly reserved when it comes to predicting my own county but I have to take issue with a couple of your points. Seamus O Shea and Aidan are in their best positions right now. There is zero doubt where Seamus should be so not sure what point you are making about him. And while I know Cork have some brilliant forwards I think we are all a little guilty of comparing them to the team that won the All Ireland, this is not the same team. I think their defence is fairly suspect. We have a mentally strong bunch and while I agree our forward line isn't the best in the country they are good enough tomorrow. If Mayo lose I will hold my hands up but I am confident we are more than strong enough to put away Cork.

Mayo need to be on their guard for this one, could be dodgy.

Can't see Mayo doing it, they still don't have enough top class forwards in my opinion to swing the match in their favour if and when it comes down to it. It won't be a comfortable win for Cork by any means, but I fancy them to win by 3-4 points.

They need to do something about the hand passing it just a game of rugby league nowadays. I know people will disagree but watching defensive football all the time will turn people off watching, if people say this is an exciting game then I give up

Mayo will need a rethink at half time

Lets see if Horan has the goods

He usually doesn't.

Lets see if he's any better in 2014

Very cynical game from what I've seen. McLoughlin who's a master at bending the rules should have been black carded, although he got a nasty elbow as well.

What match are you looking at?

The standard of play has been very high from both teams.
