One score from Waterford last 20 minutes. Pathetic. Well done Wexford. Bring it on.

Great to see the Wexford bandwagon out in full force.

Full time, Wexford 3-15 Waterford 2-15. Extremely entertaining match if a little scrappy at times. Wexford overall the better team I felt. Again they hit an awful lot of wides, it just seems to be something they can't get out of their game. Crowd was about 3/4 Wexford, the Wexford fans are definitely back. They'll see Limerick as a winnable match but I think that unless they improve their points to wides ratio they'll struggle to beat them.

A very enjoyable game. Well done Wexford. Wexford are a very good team although Waterford faded badly in the 2nd half. Limerick v Wexford it is then. Hard to call it. I think our full back line is much sturdier than Waterford. So I can't see Wexford getting all the joy they did today with the 3 goals and could have been 4 or 5. Should be a good game. Getting great entertainment from Wexford this summer I have to say.

Never mind Ahsure. He was on the Limerick site with the same old 'bandwagoning' nonsense. Of course Galway are gone out of the Hurling championship before either of our counties so their 'bandwagon' is impounded.

Very enjoyable game last night and its absolutely brilliant to see a competitive Wexford back in the Championship. I did expect them to edge a close game last night but I don't expect them to beat Limerick next Sunday. Limerick are a serious team, they had more goal chances than Cork last week but didn't convert any, that won't happen again. Love Wexford Supporters sat with good men and women and marvelled at their attitude as their team went through bad times. I think better times are coming for them but I strongly tip Limerick to win next week and to give Kilkenny a mighty battle in the semi.

ahsure, wasnt there 40k Galway supporters at the Laois/Kilkenny matches. That comment is bang out of order. Wexford have brought a big following to all the games this year. The only time I seen a massive Galway crowd is at the All-Ireland 2 years ago.
But hey there is plenty of room for Galway supporters at this time of year. In Ballybrit.

Should have added Oldtourman/Hoover78, I am looking forward to next Sunday already and may the best team win it.

I know Sky have contract for these games, but couldn't RTE bring us a deferred showing late on Sat. night, the same as they do with Ireland soccer friendlies ? It's a long wait for a few minutes showing on Sunday night.

Absolutely Pinkie, ye have the makings of a fine side over the coming years. Great to see it and i expect massive Limerick and Wexford support next Sunday.

I would say Limerick are in a league of their own in the bandwagon stakes. However Wexford don't fall far away from it, I remember a few years back Galway played Wexford in Nowlan Park the Leinster Championship and we outnumbered Wexford supporters 2-1. Surprising considering the distance we had to travel (compared to them). As for the game against Clare up in Ennis, only a smather of supporters from Wexford in the stands. They got a sniff of winning and now they're out in force. Shame really, but thats the GAA and sport in general.

Including Galway in the conversation is just plain lazy and Pinkie, after next Sunday ye won't have to save up for a trip to Croker in August and ye can come up to Galway for the races if ye want.

Ahsure, your probably best to ignore the forums until next year when both the galway hurlers and footballers bottle it again as they do every year. Anyway hope the club championship is going well up there. Plenty of time for you to start saving for the 2 galway championship games next year. Bandwagon supporters you say. Both wexford and limerick have best supporters in the country. Very proud wexford man last night seeing the support we had. Will be another great day out next week with 4 proper hurling counties displaying their skills in thurles. Can organise a ticket for you if you want? See real men hurling.

You're talking About the colm bonner era and yes support dwindled. I wouldn't blame anyone for not parting with precious Euros to watch an indisciplined side with little or no commitment. Other than those few years our support would be excellent

This is a Waterford-Wexford thread, mentioning Galway in it in regards to their championship merits and support levels is both uncalled for and lazy posting by HS users.

I think you were at a different Wexford Galway match ahsure, or maybe it's one that was played out in your head but there was a sizeable crowd from both counties at that match around 50:50 which is surprising bearing in mind the relative population size of each county.

I understand your posting to get a rise from people, I guess some people just get their kicks that way so I wont respond with quips about Galway hurling as I have a lot of good friends up that way and a huge amount of gra for Galway, their hurlers and followers but at least don't make up something to support an inaccurate statement like a good lad.
