Limerick v Wexford. I think I will give Wexford the slight advantage here unless Limerick can get back to last years form, I think Limerick have slipped back a small bit, in saying that would be no surprise to see them winning either. Looking forward to this game.

Dublin v Tipp. Dublin to win it with a good few points to spare.

Limerick and Tipp will be favourites. Id go with Limerick as I think Clare and Waterford were poor teams.

Dublin would need to be far better than they were against Kilkenny and indeed Wexford. I dunno if they can but I will give them the benefit of the doubt. So Limerick Dublin double for me

Ticket sales suspended in Wexford because they can't meet demand. I think this proves the games should be moved to Croker to give everybody a chance to support their county

Think Tip will be too good for Dublin this time round. I don't think Wexford played particularly well against the Dubs and the only difference between the sides on the day was Keaney who probably had his best game ever. Think Tip will have a bit of wind in their sails after the last game and Dub will be still left with a bit of a hangover after the KK mauling.

Have to go for Wexford obviously but have the utmost respect for Limerick. Wexford have to reduce those wides, we had the same problem again last week. We should have won by 5 or 6. I think we can still play better across the pitch. There were a few players last week who didn't perform well but were awesome the week before. To me the difference with the current Wexford team is that previously we were depending on 4 or 5 players but even our subs seem to be doing the business these days when swapped on for players who are having an off day. All the good sides including Limerick have those players on the bench who can turn the game around. Even Waterford brought on two old favourites who nearly turned the game for them last weekend.

I just about got my tickets from the club last night. Was waiting till the weekend but said I better ring in advance and just check.
Both stands are indeed sold out and even terrace tickets are being snapped up pretty quickly.
Should be a cracking 2 games and I hope the crowd stays to watch both games and have the atmosphere electric. If I was to call it right now...

Limerick by just a point or two
Dublin by 4.

I cant believe this ticket fiasco. I have been to every single Wexford game this year since the Walsh cup. I ordered tickets for this game and the last 2 through my club. If I now end up without a ticket for the biggest game we have played in 7 years, to say that I will be heartbroken would be an understatement.
How on earth have we ended up with only 2k tickets in a stadium of 53k of which over 30k is seated, I dont know.

Would you not just buy a terrace Pinkie or have you family going with you also?

Give everyone a chance?? you mean the band waggoner's. I think what the Gaa should do is sell tickets to Wexford for the stand and then tell them to go stand in the terrace, like what was done to Limerick supporters in 2009 that had stand tickets. 100's left to get soaked.

Pinkie I'm so sorry yo hear that. Same here but I did.manage to get terrace. Not the ideal place for the little one. I really hope it gets moved. Surely Dublin and the surrounding businesses would be only delighted to win back some of the revenue lost over that cowboy fella

I dont know how many limerick and tipp have gotten but speaking to a few lads in dublin it seems they got less then wexford... There seems to have been a monumental screw up with the online and supervalue sales..

Not being smart but lads, Limerick and Tipp knew they were there already hence the reason a huge number of tickets are already sold. Of the top hurling supports you have 3 of the top 4 playing on the same day, There is where the issue is. As stated Limerick and Tipp will bring circa 35k. I have no doubt there are plenty of tickets, ye just need to got to the terrace.

It's not really possible to bring kids to a terrace.

People I am sure will trade insults at Wexford supporters for being a bandwagon but to be fair would you go watch a team where players are drinking a week before a championship match like we had a few years ago?

We had 19k in the park for Kilkenny in senior 2-3 years ago when we were just starting to recover our form, we had 14k at U-21 final last year, we outnumbered Dublin in Parnell Park at U-21 a few weeks ago, practically filled Wexford Park a few weeks ago for Dublin and Clare, had a small few loyal supporters who went to Ennis where there was zero expectation (would you drive for 3.5 hours to see your county bet out the gate?) this is not as much of a bandwagon as it is made out to be.

Seriously think about it. Gareth Brooke gets cancelled. How would the GAA look if they now organised a game instead after all the hassle with the residents. It might sound logical to the GAA supporters but I reckon those outside of GAA circles would have a field day!

So it's Wexford's fault now that Limerick supporters got soaked. Think it's great that Wexford hurling is winning back support. Think you'll find that our attendance at any of the equivalent games that Limerick have made over the past 10 years wouldn't differ that much. Only difference is we haven't made many of them lately. Don't be an ould sower puss!

I hope Wexford do it, although I think it is unlikely

Pinkie it is not sold out yet. Is there no one in Wexford can stand to watch a match?

Only joking, but seriously these games are not going to be moved nor should they be. Really looking forward to them. I reckon Wexford will beat Limerick. I have no idea what might happen in the other one. I just hope if we do get beaten that we go down with a bit of balls and hurling. All we can ask.

They gave the seats to Wexford people in 2009 and we got told " go to the terrace or go home" even though we had tickets, that is not a dig or an opinion that is a fact. and if you go digging on the hogan stand you will find posts about it.

I have been to a lot of neutral games in the past few years and for you to say that Wexford have had a following similar in size to limerick, sorry is laughable to say the least.
The last time I went to Wexford park it was like a funeral home, that is again not a dig, it's an opinion and honestly I was rather shocked at the lack of fight but getting back to the point, you couldn't have given 2000 stand tickets away that day to Wexford people.

Why could Tipp and Dublin not play in Nowlan Park on Sunday and Wexford and Limerick go ahead as arranged already. After all we went to Croke Park in 2001 for our last Quarter Final meeting. Where I was reared it in West Limerick a trip to Croke Park entails a 360 mile round trip a distance which no Wexford resident has to undertake next Sunday.

The other 3 counties should never have agreed to play in Tipp's home venue in the first place. Dublin couldn't object as the footballers having "home" advantage in Croke Park would be thrown at them. Tipp already had Galway in Thurles and should never have been allowed further advantage. Tipp and Dublin could have tossed for venue and let Limerick and Wexford do likewise. Alternatively pick neutral venues like Portlaoise. Tipp will have huge numbers in their back garðen when many had abandoned them earlier in the season. Great prize for fickle fans! Hope Dublin send all Tipp people home with glum faces!
