I've been saying all year that Tipp would be a serious threat to Division 2 and possibly even Division 1 teams. I've also said for years that Creedon is one of the most shrewd coaches out there.

Did anyone listen? Did they f...

Congrats to Tipp on a well deserved win. Next up Galway which should be very interesting, could have down with a home draw!

On Saturdays form Tipp will be Galway but being away again this time without the 1000s of hurling supporters could be a bigger ask..

Laois are a better team than Galway so Tipp won't fear them

Is Tipp v Galway a nuetral venue ?

I am assuming Portlaoise with a double header Cork v Sligo.

A wounded animal like Galway are not to be taking lightly. They also have 2 weeks to prepare for this plenty of time to get over Mayo defeat rather than the usual 1 week.

Not sure why this is seen as a big sign of improvement. Sure they beat Laois in 2010 qualifiers also.

Its great to see teams like Tipperary and Roscommon making big improvements after having under age success. A win for Tipp over Galway would help boost the profile.

shaping up to a very good game tipp have learned from the cork match and creedon is very clever coach
likewise in galway mullholland after the match was spot on with his words about the missed chances being the differance
kildare are very similiar team to galway when they take their chances can be very good and
they showed that as they recovered from the meath match
if galway take their chances against tipp it could be a very high scoring game.
wouldnt like to call it at this stage

One thing which hasnt been mentioned anywhere so far from what ive seen but of the 3-17 we scored v laois 3-15 of that came from play, our only two scores from frees were our last two points of the game. Our forwards didnt really turn up v cork but to be fair against longford putting up 2-17 and 3-17 v laois shows they have really stepped it up. Ciaran McDonald has now kept hurley (cork), barden (longford) and munelly for the time he was on, non of which have gotten a touch in any of the games. Also i was shocked the sunday game never showed colin o'riordans first point, it really was as good as you will see all championship, catching a ball out of the clouds, laying it off before getting it back and putting over a long range score.

O'Riordans score was unreal to be fair....

Laois must get great credit for what was best game of football I've seen in a while

Hopefully the Tipp footballers will get the backing of their county board. Their achievements this year are no flash in the pan.

It is very difficult for what are seen as hurling counties to make the breakthrough in football. They deserve equal treatment to the hurlers but when they start getting success & need more resources i.e. get some of the cash that was traditionally given to the hurlers, that is the acid test for county boards.

Well done to DonegaL man Mickey McGeehan who came in this year as the Tipperary football coach. No wonder Tipperary are performing!

And a fine job he is doing along side a shrewd cork man and a good tipp man. Just aswell he hasn't tried to make us play as defensive as donegal have the last few years, probably as good a style of football as you will see this year, it remains to be seen how far our quality to go with it can bring us

both tipp and clare doing well in football expect no help from hurling people lads in fact expect them to do every thing they can to stop u inproving as happened in wexford martin story in his time over minor team let his players play soccar and rugby but not football

think galway will win this one,, with the match being played in tullamore, being on sky sports and the hurlers playing the next day i expect the tipp attendance to go back to usual levels made up of family members and friends. max tipp following will be below 200 people,, such a shame considering the outstanding performances of this team

If the required 2/3 changes are made by the Galway manager and he somehow he discovers a plan for winning our own kickouts , and our defence tightens up then i would expect us to prevail in a high scoring encounter!
