I wouldn't be writing off Galway just yet. I think it will be an interesting game as Mayo will be involved in a battle against a big rival and will have to display mental resolve to show that they can enter the All-Ireland series with genuine credentials to finally win Sam. If they don't put in a performance and win convincingly, it will put a massive dent in their hopes of ending the drought. proevo (Meath) - Posts: 296 - 03/07/2014 13:45:42 1613151 Link 0 |

Do Mayo posters feel there team is on the way back ?? From the outside , I would say they are not in decline . Mayo made last four of league and won a tricky away tie a few weeks back so what's the big fuss about ??? With an ok draw , I think they will be in last 4 or final again. I suppose with Donegal and the Dublin Region on one side, the expectation is for Mayo to make another All-Ireland final. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7873 - 08/07/2014 11:52:07 1615628 Link 0 |
Cannot wait. It's going to be tough, but we'll put it up to mayo a lot better than last year. I think if we play well and it all clicks well you just never know!!! tribeinbrum (Galway) - Posts: 4155 - 08/07/2014 12:18:24 1615658 Link 0 |

Roscommon beat Galway in a Challenge game at the weekend 0-20 to 1-13. Anybody looking for indicators from a challenge are deluded though. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11236 - 08/07/2014 13:43:59 1615716 Link 0 |

Galway win is very possible, Mayos performance v Roscommon was abysmal. mod (Mayo) - Posts: 859 - 08/07/2014 14:34:24 1615750 Link 0 |
Liked the look of galway the last day out. I thought they had a lot up their sleeve. Whether tis will be enough is the big question, to beat mayo that is. I can see it happening, but it will require mayo to have a bad day at the office. I feel that Galway could just do it. I wouldnt put money on it though.
