seadog..

You have watched Meath since the 60's? How would you rate the current team?

You're a bigger cowboy than myself. I'm in boozer warming up. What's your excuse? :-)
I love an optimist though. Enjoy your day.

They are still a work in progress, a shame we lost a few to injury, they were a vital part of current team. Still a way to go before we reach the standard of the eighties or nineties. We need to unearth at least two defenders. But as I said if we can compete with this excellent Dublin team then we are going in right direction and may have an extended summer, regardless of Sundays result

Take it this way, in 2012 Meath got whipped by Dublin and only lost by 3. Last year Meath were leading right up into to last 15 mins but lost by 7

This is a very young team and already they are getting battle hardened. I think Dublin have at least a 5-7 point cushion for a number of reasons.

However I would prefer to see any team looking in at Meath will respect and fear them as a decent side.

Finding it unusually hard to get excited about this one, kinda like the Laois and Wexford games, could be in for a rude awakening but can't help how I feel!

Dublin to win , haven't a clue in what manner , posted earlier on Dubs page was that Meath are hoping to rip into Dublin from the start , and from my source there is genuine optimism in Meath camp , guess work on my part I think Connoly will receive some nice up close n personal ,
Bring it on I say , we need it .
Bring it on it will be great preparation for either a Donegal or Monaghan ,
Great crowd great atmosphere , and the excitement Im feeling IS the reason I wanted the old enemy to beat the Lillywhites ,
If we lose all I can say is best of luck to Meath , but this team is the real deal , am confident .
