Cork Double Talk

May win a Musnter in football and that will be Cork's fill for the year, only reason is Kerry have regressed for me. Dublin have a better chance of doing it this year and would like to see them win the hurling if we don't manage to do so.

Football probably more likely then hurling IMO.

Hurlers are making new strides every year but I fear their bench, particularly in defense is against them and there lack of goals from open play.

I think Cork footballers are a serious side and I would say they are better equipped to tackle Dublin than anyone.

Every year I put a few quid on Galway to do the double, and every year the kids moan at me for not having shoes on their feet.

One day kids, you'll have the finest shoes known to man, one day...

Of all years, I think this year is most unlikely for cork to do the double. There are so many good teams out there now in both codes, and u would have to be exceptionally good to do this. I dont think cork have an exceptionally good side in football, they may have in hurling. Dublin is the measure in football and they are only in 3rd gear at the moment. In hurling, i think dublin and kilkenny are both likely to beat cork this year.. It is too big an ask to win both imo.

Thanks for the compliment but I wouldn't fancy us to beat Dublin if we met them in the championship this year. Not after what I saw in the second half of the league semi-final.

Again with '11 final, fluking, the better team lost etc, get real, we were the better team for the 1st half and for the start and finish of the 2nd half, get over it!

Shur i dont have to get over anything shur it was kerry ye beat not cork ???? Doesnt effect me at all !! I was just stating the facts wether ye destroyed kerry or fluked it against kerry it no issue to me either way. Ill be the first to admit we fluked it in 2010 that doen were the better team for 60 mins we still won !!

Dublin gone backward in hurling Ritchie! How you make that out? Comfortable win against Wexford compared to last year, and will be well ready for Cats... or Galway :-)

I actually think both finals might be Dublin/Cork. Trying unsuccessfully so far to get a bookie to price that for me.

Awkward...
