One angle I have on the whole thing is how worried I am about the downward spiral in the age of hurlers. 19-24 seems to be the trend now, after that lads seem to be moving into the 'experienced' our 'super sub' category. It's frightening.
I can one day soon see a re-structuring of hurling where the U21 grade is gone and is replaced by an over-30's grade, doing what over-40's hurling used to do.
1593834 Can't have Cork and Waterford in Thurles because tickets were already on sale before this game was played is the first reason and Tipp V Limerick could have anything from 15k to 35k at the game going for closer to 35k or more if Limerick crowd travel, the second terrece tickets have now gone on sale which is a good indication there will be big crowd
the ground holds 53 thousand what does it matter if tickets have already gone on sale it will be the same price anyway and estimates of an offcial attendance last week of 16 thousand could easily be catered for along with tipp v limerick on sunday you would increase the attendance overall as more would be inclined to go with the two games on and would save tipp gaa employing staff two weeks running
