Good old Joe, once again proving to the rest of us that he's bitter, unfunny and totally irrelevant. Joe still thinks we all prefer the good ole three angry middle aged Irishmen routine, well wont he and RTE soon be in for a rude awakening.

Agree fully Brend. Although rumour has it that the brains in Montrose are already on the case and Eileen Dunne (speaking of Baywatch babes) is to replace Bill and act as referee between the three old stooges on RTE's Brazil WC panel. Good to see the underpaid D4 media kings moving with the times although surely Twink was available!!

Nice to see so many fans of County Sky around here, the only thing free on it is crass bland TV formula. But why would anyone care that much if a sports program failed? Some of you sound like its actually a matter of life and death.

Fully agree Hteam. People say 'oh but you don't get it, he is supposed to be controversial'. I am fully aware of that, he just isn't much good at it from what I can see. There is nothing likeable or believable about the persona he presents

Yep, spot on, I get that he's supposed to be controversial but I just don't think he can pull it off, I find him a complete drag. He's like one of your mates kids who won't stop interrupting when you're trying to have a conversation, after a while it's not cute, it's not funny it's just irritating.

Personally speaking I don't know the man, he could be a gent for all I know but on tele, the bit I do see of him, he's just trying to shout over people and trying to be controversial non stop just for the sake of it = tiresome.

Are you for real!!!
You honestly think that sky don't have a person directing the add that they would tell MDMA to do whatever he thinks himself Haha that's even worse if that would be the case as it would be a really half baked attempt and show very bad production skills

I fail to see how people think rate are going to be suddenly now challenged when the fact is sky sports coverage is tv3 on pay per view its the same people employed
They didn't land much of a blow on rte over last few year's so are they suddenly going to become TV superstars overnight.
This attitude reminds me of Irish soccer supporters when the player plays here in the league of Ireland he's not good enough but as soon as he puts pen to paper with an English club the call up for the national squad comes

He alright at times, But he can blabber on a bit too much sometimes and it gets irritating. Take last Sunday, he cut young O'Se off a few times. I felt like phoning into RTE and telling him to shut his hole and allow O'Se to speak.

Brolly has a recent habit of retracting his attention seeking comments, hardly someone to look up to, if he was a real man he'd stick to his guns.

That is one thing that annoys me about joe he should stick to his guns, but then again he is probably made retract those comments by his employer, and Gary I know what you mean but Tomas has to get tough with him I remember when pat Spillane came back on the live show he made a reference that great teams won more than one allireland and it was like a cock measuring competition joe slunk back in to the chair and was very quite after that, maybe Tomas should wear his 5 medals or something ;-)

I'm fed up with Brolly's antics, he thinks its ok to badmouth someone as long as he apologise a few days later (he did the same with Cavanagh). Rachel Wyse has shown a bit of class by not getting involved or responding. While I'm not a big Sky fan, I'm gradually being turned off rte by the presence of the likes of Brolly and their general biased views.

Maybe he's has been 'turned' by SKY and is
covertly turning the audience off RTE!

Don't be surprised if you see him on SKY soon!
Breaking news; you heard it here first! ;)

Joe is all about Joe. In my opinion Brolly, Spillane and O'Rourke are full of their own self importance with a lot more emphais on their own egos than the value they add to the thing.

Let me see if I've got this right kingdomboy, your idea of a good halftime discussion involves a couple of wrinkly middle aged men comparing the size of their manhood or have I picked this up all wrong?

As a father of daughters. I find his comments not only distasteful but disgusting. In my opinion Rachel is ten times the pundit that he is, women have to put up with this **** in every aspect of their work. Now brolly obviously suffers from SMALL man syndrome, and really is only desperately trying to keep his job, that hopefully rte will limit from now on. If anything it proves that the gaa were right to sign up with sky, with guys like this on our great free (€160) to air gaa station.

Ah ffs lads come on, sense of humour bypass?

Are we all that politically correct now? Glass houses etc.

Brolly is an entertainer, gaa life would be dull without him.

You only have to count the amount of topics/posts that relate to him.

Some people take life to serious!

This isn't a sense of humour issue and personally I'm not particularly pc at all so I don't find his comments offensive but I have to disagree with the "gaa life would be dull without him" bit, it'd be a breath of fresh air without him.

I get it that he's there to cause controversy, I generally like controversial figures because they're entertaining, I get it....but like I don't find certain comedians funny (even though that's their profession) I also don't find anything funny or entertaining about Brolly.

I find static on the tele more interesting, he's a Sinead O'Connor figure = has a desperate, insatiable need for attention and I just find it one long, never ending draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggg...........
