Completely agree.

It was a bad defeat but thats all it was, One defeat.

Im sure the aim for Derry at the start of the year with regards to the league was to avoid relegation and be in a decent place for the Donegal game in the opening round of Ulster, And to be fair you have surpassed that.

I dont think anyone would have predicted a Dublin v Derry league final before a ball was kicked. You's played some really good football but the reality is, regardless of yesterdays result, its all about looking forward now. Both teams have bigger fish to fry.

I'd be nearly certain you'd take that hammering yesterday if it means you beat Donegal in a months time. Similarly i wouldnt have been overly concerned had Dublin lost.

Its all about the championship and we are both in decent positions moving forward.

Firstly, congratulations to Dublin , what a performance ! It could have been 25 points in the end. We just didnt show up and over awed would be an understatement. To stop Dublin you need to play very high up the pitch , which is exactly what they did to Derry yesterday and from the first few minutes you could see they were attacking every ball and our players couldnt cope with their intensity and it was a fairly tired looking Derry team in fairness, they look like they could do with a bit of a resting up and Mark lynch probably isnt getting much sleep with a new baby , however i'm scrapping the bottom of the barrell for excuses, Dublin were awesome, they are the benchmark for any team that wants to win the all-ireland this year. The only way Dublin will be beaten this year is if they waltz through Leinster and complacency sets in and they get nabbed in a quarter final. Other than that , everyone else can keep on dreaming.

On another note , Monaghan impressed yesterday, if they get their full regalia back fit they will give it a serious rattle this year. You heard it here first !!

The 17 point turnaround and yesterday demolition of Derry prove that Dublin are going to win Leinster at a canter and there is no team in the country who can beat them.

This Dublin team are in a class of their own, I would safely say they would walk through the pick of the rest combined.

@byranadams Dublin have lost twice in the league so they are beatable. Complacency in the past has cost Dublin dearly and Jim will need to keep the lads grounded going into the championship. Derry had a few goal chance they didn't put away .

From what I have seen of Dublin, they are unbeatable, in my opinion, Jim just has to get them to Croker, unleash the Blue Beast and sit back with the rest of us and admire the greatest football team ever, tearing teams apart with their superior skill, style and pace.
