Dubs or Derry?

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Hilarious to hear people pointing towards the ref already when we've been far and away the best team (no offence to Derry). Add in that Brogan was footblocked in the box and that O'Gara is being dragged down every time he gets the ball and it gets even funnier! Keep it up lads, I'm enjoying it.

I distinctly remember the Dubs fans, players, management and media friends telling Down, Derry and Donegal in the early 90's what they were going to do to them and how many they were going to stuff them all by and the same with Armagh and Tyrone in the 02 - 08 era; it never happened of course. If any team is going to stop Dublin and ram their arrogance down their gubs it will be an Ulster team as ours are the only ones with the heart and stomach for the fight.....Antrim excepted of course.

Got angry at Your pitiful split Dublin rant when our minors won a game in hurling , but I knew if I looked at other threads Id find something funny as you cant help yourself , at time of writing we are on top , up for the fight , have a beer a hotdog , now lets hear it loud and clear " lets split Dublin " ha ha ha ha

Caisleann. The last resort, blame the Meath man :).
Let's get real. Dublin are a different class today and I'd hassard a guess and say that they not even in third gear. And trust me as a Meath man that's hard to admit. But Dublin are unbearable, only ones that might get near are cork mayo or Kerry. Donegal Monaghan Derry come next. The rest of us only making up the numbers. And while I hope we get to Leinster final for all the tradition and everything that goes with that including that we can win, the realism is we could face a almighty hiding in that final that could set this young inexperienced Meath team back years.

This Dublin team will go on to become the greatest in the history of the GAA.

We're entering the Blue Era lads. Mayo are possibly the only county that can beat Dublin in a serious game now and their track record is... well, ye know.

Dublin are in a frighteningly strong position now.

Such an open game, both teams getting several goal chances. If they were more clinical you'd have 6-7 goals in the game already.

Another dark day for Ulster football. They just aren't up to it at this level, despite the propoganda that they put out there. Hard luck boys.

Dublin are incredibly good. If they stay hungry and motivated I can't see any team who will bother them.

I'd say James Horan is glad to be at home preparing for NY rather than face this onslaught.

Derry were desperate. How often have we seen teams like Derry perform well in a few games only on the big day crumble against the bigger team? It really frustrates me to see a team go out and in their own heads are beaten before the ball is even thrown in.

Pretty spiteful post there. Worry about your own county.

Hard luck to Derry, great progress by them this year and I hope today doesn't halt what was still a very good league campaign for you.

Great from ourselves. That's probably our starting team from 1-4 and 8-15, some great performances. EOG a different man, BB on fire. Connolly great again. The best I've seen the midfield play in a long time. FB line still leaking chances but that will happen when we push so many players forward. Devereux was very good today.

hard luck Derry, Derry are a top, good team, but look what Dublin did, Derry would live with a lot of teams, just goes to show how far ahead Dublin are, cant see any1 stopping them this year,or the next for that matter.

That's a demolition, end off, you can resent it, hate it, loathe it, but get used to it cause you're going to have to live with it, for a long while yet.
