Good second half Veronica but they are well beatable. No where near what they used to be.

You would like to think both teams are holding something back I certainly hope so as on this showing neither will go much further than last year.

The goal changed everything , well taken , must be said .
Some savage blocking and hooking throughout , not always the art that gets noticed but any kid watching would have learnt a lot

Good win for kilkenny, 1-16 to 0-15 after being down 11-6 at half time. Impressive showing from some of the younger players like Brian Kennedy and Padraig Walsh. Backs were very impressive and used the handpass and short stick pass well when possible which they haven't always done. Ball into the forwards is still predominantly long and high which yielded a goal from John Power but a bit more variety wouldn't go amiss. I'm sure Shefflin at his age wasn't thrilled having to chase into the corner after balls going over his head the whole time. All in all though, motoring nicely but we always seem to do in the league. Galway will take a lot from the overall performance, they hit the crossbar in the second half when scores were level which could have turned the game. Ultimately though they lost second half by 1-10 to 0-4 which Cunningham will be worried by I'm sure.

Well done KK great second half. Galway will take plenty of positives from this and there will be bigger days ahead this summer, Glynn was one of the best for the tribe

Ps, agree with Damo, hooking and blocking by both teams was exceptional throughout. Just goes to show if you stick with your man you'll always have a chance to get a hook in, no need to give cheap frees away.

Great crowd too by the looks of it. This could be interesting! Tipp need to go into the Summer on a positive note and Clare love beating no-one like they love beating Tipp :-)

Not blaming the umpire cause it's impossible to see but that ball didn't go over the line for the Clare goal.

Tipp man lay on it on the line and would have been a peno. Was not a goal though.

Grete performance of cynical fouling from Clare today. Gave away two 21m frees and a penalty. Tipp got 0-02 from these... Literally no punishment.

Fair play to Kilkenny and Tipp. I just hope Galway can learn from this match today and be ready for the championship. Sigh.

Better performance from Tipp today, although I don't think Clare will be too disappointed, their eyes are on summer, I don't think a league final would have done that much for them. It's a repeat of last years league final, and we all know what happened to Kilkenny and Tipp in last years championship. I still have a feeling that neither team will make the AI final.

That said, I don't think Tipp have ever needed a win over Kilkenny as badly. They've well and truly had our number since 2010, and we seem to be getting totally psyched out when we see a black and amber shirt. We need more than a performance in the final, we need a result.

The results didn't bother Clare or Tipp today, Clare just went with a plan and when it didn't work they didn't really change away from it. Davy didn't want to be giving to much away as for tipp was it a game we really wanted to win as Kk will take some beaten they are looking very good and have to be fav for the all Ireland before the championship even starts. Another defeat to Kk could derail the whole championship for Tipp

Winning matches builds momentum too and Limerick look in dire straights once again. They really do look to be a one season team dare I say it.
From a source lots of mad stuff goin on down there and now with O'Grady gone how good will they be.
Tipp KK final again not many one predicted at the start of the league. Tipp were a puck of a ball away from being in a relegation final and are now in a league final.
I dont know but this is only my opinion that Tipp are playing a lot of mind games and shadow boxing in the league. They are peaking at the right time. I think Kilkenny will beat us once again in the league final as the focus must be on the big mission to beat the Munster Champions and get back into a Munster final. Its a bonus game for Tipp the more top level hurling before the Limerick game the better.
