After yesterday I'm feeling good about my bet with PP for Dublin to win all irelands at senior, u-21 and minor. 20-1 was generous. realman2 (Kildare) - Posts: 464 - 11/07/2014 12:45:34 1617297 Link 0 |

Lets not forget this team scraped by longford, I remember when the hurlers had that huge victory over kilkenny at the start of the year people were having fits about splitting dublin into diffrent teams for each postal code!! the footballers are a good team, Basquel and O'Callaghan have great potential, I expect them to beat Kildare easily enough but they are far from All Ireland favourites at the moment. Great win for our minors (2 Connacht's in a row and our 39th Comnnacht title). Enda Gilvary deserves huge credit for what is effectively a brand new team from last years All Ireland winning team. They were poor in the Connacht minor league but who cares about that...now is the time of the year to be producing the goods. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11232 - 16/07/2014 12:44:02 1620172 Link 0 |

Minor is hard to call, but would love to see us take all 3 titles witnof (Dublin) - Posts: 1604 - 18/07/2014 16:06:04 1621212 Link 0 |
witnof, Having got two out of three last year we would be very happy with one out of three this year. lilywhite1 (Kildare) - Posts: 2990 - 18/07/2014 18:56:01 1621285 Link 0 |
That Kerry team are mighty impressive. The Munster final scoreline was no reflection for me, Kerry in control and a blatant dive made it respectable for Cork. Their West Kerry contingent (there's a plethora of them) are KEY. I remember watching the Hogan Cup final this year and wondering how big a moment it could be. A few years ago, Kerry teams heads would drop in those situations. They were terrific in coming back and closing out the game once they got ahead. Felt like a turning point. Paddy Power has Kerry favourites at 7/4. Kildare are a good price at 11/1. lilywhite1 (Kildare) - Posts: 2990 - 18/07/2014 19:22:56 1621295 Link 0 |
