jayP, I hear Offaly are a very good team. It won't be easy down in Tullamore. I heard some of our minors interviewed on local radio last night and when asked who they would like to meet in the final they said Dublin.

Yeah they wanna play Dublin as it's the glamour tie for a final.

Look, Offaly May be good. But I fancy Dublin. But who knows!

Dublin were well beaten by Kildare last year Offaly on the other hand reached this years Leinster minor final and won the Fr manning cup last year they are more than capable of beating this Dublin minor side that aren't a patch on their 2011,12 minor teams.

Connacht final on Sunday i think Mayo's name is already on the trophy such was the lucky way they bet Galway. Roscommon a decent side and will give the Ulster champions a good game in the quarter finals.

Dublin giving pre match favourites Offaly an absolute hiding here! 5-08 to 0-03. Never ever rule out the dubs.

Was way out. A total cake walk for Dublin and a non show from Offaly. Shame Offaly so much better than that but sometimes minor results like tonight happen.

Big shock at how easy they won! That completes the last 8 in Ireland now! Donegal and Armagh will face Mayo or Roscommon,Kerry will face Kildare or Dublin, same for Cork. So who's your bet on ?? Hoping for Donegal myself.

Certainly was a big shock, the margin of Dublin's victory. Minor football can be very unpredictable allright.

The minor championship is nicely set up for Kerry v Dublin All Ireland final up to the others to try and stop them now.

Iv tipped our own lads from the start and from what iv seen so far I'm very impressed and I'm sticking with them. But like ye say the minor grade can be deceiving .

At long last we might have a minor team that COULD go places. I know Pp have you favs and Donegal next best but that might change now. Do you know something Kboy we have never reached a final Would love to see us getting there and would love to see us win one. If that happens I'd have seen it all then ::Donegal with senior, minor, Div1, div2 Would be a happy man then It would make a great double decker final in Sept but what about the flags( green/gold)

Amazing result by the Dublin Minors last night. Great display to win by 6-13 to 0-06.
Con O'Callaghan is some talent. And Eoghan McHugh (brother of U21 star, Conor) is another for the future.

To beat a much fancied Offaly team by 25pts in their own back yard was a marvellous achievement.
Who says Dublin footballers don't travel well.... :o)

Hopefully my fellow Dublin supporters will come to HQ early on Sunday week, and back the lads v Lillies in the Leinster Minor Football Final.

It was just the tonic needed to relieve the doom and gloom surrounding the Dublin Hurlers over the past few days.

I might be wrong, but I think they are scheduled to meet in the semi final

Sam
It would be great to meet ye in a final ( senior and minor ) but we've both got some fair hurdles to clear in the mean time, and wouldn't it be sweet to see a full croke park covered in green and gold I'd buy that picture I tell you, God I love football , and have Donegal minors never won an all Ireland ? Amazing if they haven't .

Donegal minors have never won an All-Ireland title. They won Ulster in 2010 but they have won two All-Ireland U21 titles in the latte 80's I think which I suppose would have been the basis for their All-Ireland victory in 1992.
