Leinster will fall between the Dubs, Kildare and Longford id say given their success in recent years..... Offaly too will be there or thereabouts having won the fr manning cup in 2013 and will be fairly confident of upsetting the odds. In Munster Kerry and Cork wont have it all their own way. Tipperary and Clare are quite strong and will challenge either county. Hard to see past Mayo and Roscommon in the west while Tyrone and Donegal would seem to be the strongest in Ulster....

I think Minor football is really hard to call, as the faces change quite often. But purely looking at last season, I felt Tyrone were much stronger than Monaghan in the Ulster Minor final, but got shellshocked and caught on the hop late on.

Down looked very capable against Tyrone in the SF, and Donegal looked to be much stronger than Tyrone all over the pitch with the exception of the scoreboard.

At All Ireland level, Mayo were fantastic, and played some outstanding football. Kerry and Tyrone had very little between them.

If Donegal improve their shooting, I would back them for Ulster this year. Otherwise I will fancy Tyrone to retake the Ulster crown.
I'd imagine Mayo again for Connaught, although im not sure if many of their underage talent will remain.

Can also put us in the same rank as Tyrone,Kerry however i expect both Tyrone,Kerry to improve further while i'm not sure about ourselves though with Fergal O'Donnell still around you never know.

Mayo were fantastic at the All Ireland level but in fairness Monaghan,Westmeath were arguably level below Galway and ourselves last year.

Tyrone for example have high number of players underage again. For those with only 3 or 4 players left from last year then i agree little or no relevance.

Predicting minor is almost impossible.

I know we were unlucky to lose to Mayo after extra-time in the very first match last year and Mayo ended up winning the All-Ireland. Had we won we might have gone on to win it ourselves. It's small margins especially if you don't get a second chance. Have no idea how it will go this year to be honest.

Leinster is between meath, Dublin and Kildare
Ulster is between donegal, Cavan and Tyrone
Munster is between Kerry and cork
Connacht is between mayo and Galway

Also one of these teams will be all-Ireland champions!!

In all fairness minor is one of hardest to predict
if I had a euro for every minor team that was supposed to win all Ireland ide be rich
even when you have a lot of last years team is no guarantee even if it was a successful team

The Leinster league with a few Munster teams has started, Longford,Meath showing very well Kildare,Dublin are not. I won't judge our lot until after the Connacht league BTW Mayo are due to face Galway in the championship with no back door for the loser.

Leinster league is underway, Meath topped their group beating Dublin along the way, semi final meeting with Longford up next. Way too early to be making predictions yet, but solid sstart for Meath.

2012 Fr manning cup winners v 2013 Fr Manning cup winners. I think it might be worth keeping a eye on our neighbours Longford,Offaly this summer.

Apparently we've a lot of players still eligible this year so I'd be hopeful enough, though at minor level it's hard to say for certain.

Think yous do michaelo! Felt that's why Tyrone didn't win the all Ireland final last because Mayo had an older team that was experienced! Nonetheless Tyrone have a serious underage set up and record.

I wouldn't look to closely to the league as some teams don't play the automatic starters for championship and give other lads a chance to perform

Longford just showing a glimpse of their worth so far. Once they beat Dublin in the opening round of the Leinster minor championship i think i few more will be talking about them.
