HingKing81, I agree 100% with you. The league is insane the way is at the moment. Your suggestion makes a lot of sense but nothing will happen anytime soon.

HighKing does make a good point but there is a place for a shorter league in February and March. I'm not so sure on 10 championship games but maybe around half that...

Someone put out an idea year's ago of provincial groups. It'd guarantee counties at least 4 or 5 games. Munster - group of 6, Connaught - group of 5, Ulster (+ London) - 2 groups of 5 and Leinster - 2 groups: 5 & 6 team groups. Top 2 in Munster and Connaught in provincial finals. Top 2 in Ulster and Leinster groups in to provincial semi-finals.
