No harm to you but you are talking rubbish.

Give the black card a chance, you may well be right & it may well not work but if the scoring last weekend is anything to go by then players are a lot slower to haul opponents down


Or maybe players are a lot slower to make a robust challenge for fear of a refs "interpretation" of the black card rules. Some of the frees I saw awarded last week beggared belief. The slightest touch, the slightest contact, a player goes down, free given. The physical element of the game is being diluted completely. That said I do agree that something had to be done about hauling players down in the manner that for example Sean Cavanagh employed last year, Eugene McGee very honestly said that this ridiculous extra card was the best that could be got through Congress. There is the elephant in the room. Congress is entirely the wrong forum for rule change. A select committee should be constituted and given responsibility for rule change. Congress is a huge obstacle in terms of the positive development of the games.
