As good as the minor All Ireland win was in 2006 it still tougher for minors to make the step up to senior level.

Even though we should have won the 2008,2009 U21 Connacht titles our first U21 title since 1999 wasn't until 2010. You can almost count on one hand the amount of current Ross seniors that weren't U21s from the last four years e.g like Cavan we have a very young team and work in progress

As for 2010 senior title, well we got the same luck of the draw as Mayo in 2012 and Sligo bet both Galway,Mayo so you can't say we didn't beat the best that year.

iv seen cavan and roscommon both beating us handy, but roscommon are streets ahead of cavan much bigger much stronger and looked way fitter

Couldn't play good football on that surface last Sunday so it wasn't a fair reflection on Cavan. We did what we needed to without our key players.

Who cares if there is a about of criticism about Cavan. Its only opinion, Whats done on the pitch is what matters.

Very young rossie side so and the subs brought on would be young lads also. Out of interest what was the average age of the starting Cavan team last Sunday?

Josh Hayes was U21 in 2010 and will be 25 this year, Damien O Reilly will be 26 this year, Martin Reilly will be 27 and Mackey has just turned 27. James McEnroe will be 25 this year.

Still a young enough side

interesting that the two youngest teams are leading the way in Div 3

Also in the case of Cavan a big change in the last couple of years is the depth of the squad...I think this year there are 30 possible starters without weakening the team....they catch will be finding the right set.

Good few ages wrong. Argue is 19. Givney 24 I think. Gearoid 23.I'd have to look them up.

ok so based on the feedback my revised ages for the Cavan team are as follows: (foolsgold when you say someone will be 25 this year then I take it they are currently 24, so that is the age I have used.). I had Janes McEnroe as 24.. yet you point out that he will be 25 this year...so I have stuck to 24 for him).

Cavan v Sligo: Cavan by 5

Offaly v Longford: Longford by 1

Limerick v Wexford: Wexford by 2

Fermanagh v Roscommon: High scoring draw!

Cavan v Sligo: A Cavan win would have them within touching distance of promotion whilst also burying Sligo's hopes. Home advantage should swing it for us, but it will be close as Sligo have some handy forwards. Cavan by 2.

Offaly v Longford: Longford by 4+. Offaly looking at a return to Div 4.

Limerick v Wexford: If wexford don't get a win here they have a relegation battle on their hands. Should have enough though and win by 4+.

Fermanagh v Roscommon: I'll go for a draw. Roscommon are on form at the minute, but Fermanagh are a tough nut to crack at home.

Cavan are doing what every1 expects in div 3, i believe Cavan, Roscommon would do well in div 2, and hold their own, even now. a lot of teams knocking Cavan, seen them against Tyrone, now Tyrone one of the favorites for Sam,1 of the top teams, well Tyrone could not live with Cavan, and only for in experience, mistakes, Cavan having a player 2 yellow carded, i believe they would have won, and it dos nt, matter what team Tyrone sent out,and hi Cian Mackey got man of the match, Tyrone simply could not stop him, and by the way Tyrone are 1 of the best teams in Ulster, Ireland, and have been this last 10, to 15 years. yous boys in Rosscommon, Wexford know all about Tyrone,
