Looks like it's going to be very tight, both at the top and the bottom.

Vital win for Roscommon over Wexford. Joint top of the table with Cavan who had a convincing win over Offaly. Cavan have to go to Wexford park next so that will be a crucial game for both teams, a Cavan win would surely mean the end for Wexford's promotion hopes. At the foot of the table I'd imagine Offaly are getting a one way ticket back to Div 4, remains to see who will join them, think Longford will have enough to stay up.

Having seen both Longford and Sligo in action over the past two weekends, I think the latter may be in a bit more trouble. Their clash will be vital for both sides as they try to remain in division 3.

To fight our own corner I think we'll pick up 4 points in home wins against Longford and Offaly leaving us on 6 which should leave us safe.Limerick probably have two of their 'easier' ties over them in ourselves and Longford and if they fail to beat Offaly they'll be in the mix for relegation also.

At the top end of the table it'll require almost 11 points to be guarenteed promotion as I can see 2nd spot being decided on score difference with Ros, Wex and Fer in with a shout.

I still think this div will finish like this..

Cavan 10
Wexford 10
Roscommon 10
Fermanagh 6
Sligo 6
Longford 4
Limerick 4
Offaly 4

Will come down to goal difference for both relegation and promotion.

I will put a bet on with you of 1 million pounds that the table won't end up like that.

Midlu head to head if its two teams level on points. Score difference if there are more then two teams level on points.

I dont know how it will finish but there has to be a total of 56 points as there are 28 games. When you add your table up it only comes to 54 so you have to find 2 more points from somewhere. I think the positions you put down are pretty much as I would have them though.

Cavan and Ros to go up just.
Fermanagh the dark horse could well beat Ros in Enniskillen
longford to upset Cavan or Wexford if they get some of their big players back.

Limerick and Offaly to go down.

Longford v Fermanagh: Home advantage for Longford, but Fermanagh doing ok under new management, draw.

Roscommon v Limerick: Roscommon by 5+

Sligo v Offaly: Sligo by 3+

Wexford v Cavan: Cavan have a few injury worries but I think we can still prevail by a point or two.

We hockeyed Meath and Monaghan in last year's league without Eugene Keating so if we're serious about becoming a force again, we need to prove that there's depth in our panel. No excuses for Cavan this weekend

Fermanagh beat a poor Sligo team who, remember were beaten by London and had no manager until after Fermanagh had theirs in place. In the game Fermanagh won, Sligo ended with 13 and had 14 for nearly all of the second half. A win no less for the Erne men..
