just because ya put donegal as your county its obvious your from cavan. Its a rivalry like armagh/tyrone cork/kerry dublin/meath. Monaghan supporters dont think the have a god given right to win matches and cups, Cavan supporters harp on about all irelands the majority of their supporters never witnessed.

Well done to the Rossies hard luck to Cavan. Div 3 champions a deserved win on the night and this silverware was deserved for the effort the lads have put in since pre-season. Onwards and upwards up the rossies!

4 consecutive wides in the 2nd half when we were on top really cost us in the end.

Well done to Roscommon. Will be Mayo's main challengers in Connaught this year and have the u21 final to look forward to next week too.

Overall, a good year so far for both teams and its still only April!

Cavan finished top of the "league" with a 100% record. This match was no more than a challenge match in which the Cavan Management experimented with a few options (most of which didn't work out). However they have learned a lot from the experiment and it will stand them in good stead for the forth-coming championship.

I am sure the game against Roscommon in Breffni Park was more of a Challange game than the game last saturday,I have yet to see a team play in croke park and not want to win especially when there is silverware up for grabs, glad to see your looking on bright side of thinks but theres no way cavan supporters are happier with there 100% record from league over the real divisoner three Champs

@ S Goldrick

Cavan's 100% record gone you only made three changes Mackey,Brady etc brought back from the meaningless group game v Roscommon. National title was their to be won in Croke park unfortunately for Cavan they just came up short on night. Will need to pick themselves up for the championship now which i think you will.

SGoldrick Cavan played one decent team in the league and the lost get over it. The cavan players looked dejected at the end.

True, for this so called challenge game i never seen players look so dejected at the end like the Cavan players were. Anyways hard luck lads and all the best in the championship you never know we might cross paths again this summer.

No. We didn't lose any games in the league. We had. 100% record. The only 100% record in the country.

Sgoldrick if that is the case you should tell the dubs to give there league title to Cork, i am sure you would get a nice response.

Goldrick i mentioned it two weeks ago on the Cavan forum it now looks like i was correct after all. You are now concerned that Cavan coming up short in the div 3 decider and the 100% gone will now affect Cavan's championship mindset. On the flip side Armagh were relegated to div 3 so their mindset will be much worse. Ulster between Monaghan,Tyrone this year IMO.
