The GAA trying to become more sportsmanlike by following in the example of the least sportsmanlike sport in the world. It'd be funny if it wasn't true. RebelCork (Cork) - Posts: 789 - 26/04/2014 19:12:23 1580380 Link 0 |
Cavan lads look in great shape. Very strong and fast MartinGerard (Longford) - Posts: 275 - 26/04/2014 19:16:05 1580382 Link 0 |
Martin Dunne is wasting many good chances. He should be subbed. Cavan_Slasher (Cavan) - Posts: 10253 - 26/04/2014 19:44:45 1580399 Link 0 |
What is the point in having these matches in Croke Park? There were more people at the junior and intermediate finals. hurlingdub (Dublin) - Posts: 6978 - 26/04/2014 19:45:55 1580400 Link 0 |
Lets hope we can kick on in the second half and win this. Lads need to get their kicking boots on up front as we coughed up a lot of chances in the first half. Make it a great day especially after winning the hurling game today as well! moros (Roscommon) - Posts: 1105 - 26/04/2014 19:47:50 1580405 Link 0 |
It is kinda strange watching all this half time analysis & replays of incidents of a game nobody gives a toss about judging by the attendance. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5028 - 26/04/2014 19:54:27 1580411 Link 0 |

Cavan's brutal shooting could well cost them this game. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5028 - 26/04/2014 20:27:19 1580435 Link 0 |

Great result for the Rossies considering they were missing all their talented U21's. Fionn (Dublin) - Posts: 3941 - 26/04/2014 20:33:52 1580442 Link 0 |
Cavan's wides certainly lost them the games. Their style of play aint suited to Croker. I reckon it will be tough for them to bounce back for Ulster! breakingball22 (Louth) - Posts: 419 - 26/04/2014 20:35:19 1580445 Link 0 |
Not a bad game. Well done to both teams MartinGerard (Longford) - Posts: 275 - 26/04/2014 20:36:39 1580448 Link 0 |
Cavan played awful football. Something I couldn't understand at all was that they ran into brick walls during the second half yet kept running into the Roscommon defence near the end when they needed a goal instead of kicking long ball. The wides they kicked were abysmal at times. Won't be near an ulster title this year in my opinion. Jimin10 (Meath) - Posts: 783 - 26/04/2014 20:39:49 1580450 Link 0 |

Too many wides. Management got it wrong argue should have come on sooner martin dunne should have come off in the first half. cavanchamps (Cavan) - Posts: 38 - 26/04/2014 20:58:37 1580470 Link 0 |
Decent win for Ros considering Cavan seemed really up for it.Some resolve and bottle shown at the end which is a good sign however our shot selection was very poor lots of room for improvement.Cavans tactical fouling was well punished by Donie and Senan who were both impressive. salvador (Roscommon) - Posts: 439 - 26/04/2014 21:02:45 1580472 Link 0 |
hard luck Cavan, well done Roscommon, i feel Cavan kicked the game away, on another day if what they missed, penalaty, etc would have gon e in, they would have won well, not taking away from the Roscommon team who missed scores also, and are a very good team, i feel we have not heard the last of Cavan, this year, and Roscommon will push on in the west, all the best to Roscommon u21 s next week, mchugh11 (Donegal) - Posts: 242 - 26/04/2014 21:06:32 1580475 Link 0 |
