Dublin deserved their win, bossed the game from the start. Tyrone were never ahead and would have been shameful if we had scraped a win from that display. Really bad stuff, really really bad from Tyrone. Our defense is a complete joke, I dont know what Micky is attempting to achieve, all he had to do was take one look at the match programme, one look at the Dublin forwards and then he would have known not to rely on such a weak defense. To go down at home by 3 goals, early in the first half is a complete and utter train wreck. Yeah yeah, we did well to come back into it, but when none of your forwards can execute a 21 yard line free kick and you have to rely on your goal keeper then things are not good. 6 forwards and not one can take a 21 yard line free kick, 3 missed in total with McCurry at the helm of poor poor kicking in front of goals. Tyrone are really getting good at chasing a game, going down by a bagfull then trying to catch up...but when is the Tyrone bench going to focus on our amazingly dodgy defending? To go from a defensive team to an ultra attacking team is too extreme. Tyrone should have played with a sweeper for the first half hour to keep Dublin at bay, then they should have reverted back to the attacking game once things got settled.. Its either all or nothing with Harte, either full on sweeper system for 70 mins or none whatsoever. This loss lies fair and square with the Tyrone side line.

In fairness you make good point about the system being played but its hard to boss any game if you are playing catch up from the start. The team still deserves credit for reeling the Dubs in to level it near the end.The defending is definitely an issue that needs to be worked on and I think it will be and we will be a better outfit later on when the championship starts.Morgan needs to get his kick outs to our own players more often also.

Tyrone and Dublin were unimpressive. Tyrone defence were all at sea and they only got back into the game because Dublin went missing in the second half.
this was a poor advertisement by supposedly two of the best.

It was meant to be an advertisement? I thought it was a league match with the losers going out and the winners going through , tooth and nail battle if you will. We'll leave the pretty stuff for you Derry lads :D

Just offering an opinion lads.
any unbiased observer would agree this was a poor game that went no where near expectations.

We can't put on a top show every week Derryman god if any team deserves a break for not playing well I think it's us we given the country some of the greatest games ever seen over the last 15 years to be fair to us. Sorry that our away win wasn't to your liking hopefully will improve next weekend against the new favourites for Sam.

I have never anticipated a 'great advertisement' for the game to be on the cards when travelling to Omagh for a league match. Not sure what expectations you're talking about, but you are entitled to your opinion like you said, might even see you in the final, but in honesty I expect both Cork & Mayo to win next weekend, we're still patching up, players coming back etc, not enough stability and I think we've done well to get this far!

So ye all think it was a great game then?

Cork just made themselves favs for the league

Great performance from them

On current form the Dubs have done well to get to this stage

Cork will really fancy their chances of making the final

If the Dubs perform like they did today against Cork...

Only one winner and it'll be the lads from Irelands 3rd City

Cork v Mayo final on the cards

Not saying that but it wasn't as dire as you are making it out to be.The Derry V Mayo game was hardly a classic either now was it?

Mayo game lacked any edge and felt more like a training session for both teams. Interesting that both teams played better against a very strong breeze. Mayo faded in the second half but very impressive performance from Freeman. That said it was a second string Derry outfit....will need a much improved performance to beat the real Derry next weekend.

Would everyone agree the All Ireland winners woll come from the four league semi finalists?

Yew tree.
I would be delighted if the 4 AI semifinalists are the same as the league.
but that is only my hope.

MITT...........Looking at the latest games, Mayo I think.
Look again! Mayo's performance today against a very understrength Derry side was less than impressive.

Good list there CD... some top top games

We lost most of them!

Great games... painful memories

Dublin were fairly dodgy over those years...

We should have had Cluxton taking 45's / free's long before 2011

We may have won more of those games listed!
