I would imagine the stand alone holds over 4,000 and every seat was taken. Must have been a lot of U16's!!!! CapitalGains (Dublin) - Posts: 40 - 24/02/2014 12:37:12 1550615 Link 0 |

The last time I saw Parnell as full was for Vinnies/Kickhams and that was officially 10,000! I doubt that half the crowd were admitted free. hurlingdub (Dublin) - Posts: 6978 - 24/02/2014 12:52:04 1550620 Link 0 |
"Like all of the teams who had lost their opening game, Dublin - whose setback in Galway had been especially embarrassing - responded impressively to overcome the All-Ireland champions in a match they led from gun to tape before a crowd of 4,312 at Parnell Park." hill16no1man (Dublin) - Posts: 12665 - 24/02/2014 13:19:33 1550629 Link 0 |

i think its 7 thousand as far as i know last I heared anyway but they never usual give an exact attendance in parnell as long as I have been going and its strange that the irish times have an exact number and the dublin county boards own website only give approx haha hill16no1man (Dublin) - Posts: 12665 - 24/02/2014 14:01:47 1550650 Link 0 |

The official attendance for paying patrons in Nowlan Park yesterday was 8600. Great crowd seeing as U14's aren't counted for league games. dblackandamber (Kilkenny) - Posts: 92 - 24/02/2014 19:29:23 1550857 Link 0 |

hill16no1man they only count paying customers and it's not just the Dubs that get under estimations they do this everywhere. The hurling league attendances are looking great this year and I'd imagine will improve given how good the league is going once again. The "6 nation" format is great! Speaking to a meath official at navan a while back he said they only announce the paying customers in the attendance now. They do keep track of everyone for the GAA's records though. BettystownRoyal (Meath) - Posts: 3353 - 26/02/2014 10:13:50 1551468 Link 0 |
