I rather have good underage teams than not. I was in Carrick on Shannon today on that viewing it will be another few years before we deliver at senior level.

Anyone at the Tipp Mayo game? All i had to go on was the mayo gaa twitter but looked from that a convincing enough win, Mayo tightened it up abit last 5 mins is all. Tipp had 2 lads who will start in the full back line playing, 1 in the half back line, The 2 midfielders will be our starting two and id be surprised if they did anything but dominate and 1 in the forward line who will be vying for a starting place. How strong of a team had mayo out? All in all hastings cup has been a very good addition to our schedule this year, alot of players have been looked at

Looking at the Mayo team that started i'd say about 8 championship starters and they were without their best forward Evan Regan yesterday.

Self confidence i like it however i would fancy a double Connacht underage win for Galway this year and at least one All Ireland.
