Junior league is all over the place in fairness(like with Scotstown C's in it) some teams don't care about it. He doesn't seem too bad to get Toome to a semi against the winners but wouldn't find seeing him elsewhere in junior, Toome always a cheeky outside team.

and whats wrong with Scotstown been in it?

scotstown shouldn't be in it, hard enough for junior clubs to compete without having to worry about a club the size of scotstown in it as well, there bringing no benefit to the competition apart from making there own senior team stronger as a result..

mick has it right, Scotstown in it just makes it harder for the other Junior clubs come championship time and then we have to listen to the crap about "sure look where they are in the league". My original point was that with junior more than any other I feel teams only come together for championship time, Toome and Socts Cs in the semi finals and they were what like 3 and 2nd bottom of the league? Like you can't really judge a manager on league performance in that competition when 4/5 of their championship team don't play in league matches(from what I gather) and the change in line up for Scots C come that time is amazing.

scotstown will have no bearing on junior league or championship this year. seanie mohan, francis mcguire, ross mckenna, emmet caulfield and couple others all gone through playing championship football. cian mohan the county no 2 goalie is their only eligable keeper and im sure will get some championship football this year leaving them high n dry. it must be an absolute managers nightmare to manage scotstown juniors as anyone who does show form will be drafted up to the seniors

fairplayfan my heart bleeds for scotstown and the loss of 4 or 5 players.. With a pick of 70 plus senior players to choose from to cover 3 teams I wonder will scotstown be able to field a team in junior this year at all??!!

Jim Mc Conville over Toome. Serious man. Paddy Kelly over Emyvale. Colin Mc Geough not with anyone I don't think. His brother Gerry over Annamullen.

Jim mc is a great appointment by toome but in fairness mc Geough done well with them and from what I heard there's not a toome player that would say a bad thing about him its a wonder no team was in for him clones could be the team to beat this year

Always good to crank this one up again at this time of year - any ratifications or managers moving on? Would be good to see the new generation of managers continuing to follow on from the likes of Owen Lennon, Damien Freeman, Declan McKiernan even etc. Will Scotstown go outside the club again ?

I am hearing that Mick McCormack is staying with Scotstown, bring in Gerry McCarville & another selector with an outside trainer. Trainer from Tyrone and has worked with Tyrone senior panel. He is the real deal in relation to training teams.
