It's a bit too early to say just yet for sure. Dublin will definitely be in the running, as will Donegal I suspect.

I'm not sure about how Mayo will re-group for a 4th season, but I would still expect them to put up a challenge.
Tyrone will overtake Kerry next season, but I'm not sure if they have the hardware to go the whole hog. Need to wait and see. Not sure where Cork will be, need to wait and see how the new management shake them up I suppose.

Monaghan, Meath and Galway will be expected to Improve again, as will Derry and Cavan. But none of these will win Sam.

As for Kerry nearly all their best players will be another year older. I just don't see it unfortunately. They still have enough talent to go so far but can't see them getting over the line.

I predict a Dublin Cork final next year with the Dubs coming out on top.

Dublin have only won 4 All-Irelands in the last 30 years so the odds must be against them winning next year.

I would have agreed with that post last year, that they have a meagre return for such a superpower of the sport, but they are suddenly putting titles together, and they have broken a serious monkey in beating kerry twice as well as getting one back at mayo this year, both awful bogey teams for them. So I would say that they are the form team to beat as well as the bookies favorites, I would not bet against them unless something seriously wrong happens them next year.

Don't know how anyone could predict Tyrone. Very poor team that only went as far this year due to rugby league tactics and favourable calls from ref. I'd have Monaghan Donegal Cavan all ahead of Tyrone in Ulster.

You would have Monaghan,Cavan around the same level as Meath and a Donegal side that were hammered by Mayo ahead of Tyrone? yeah right pull my other leg.

The reason people can tip Tyrone is that next season they will be one of eight teams in the NFL division 1. Recent history shows this is where the winner will come from. This list would include Dublin, Tyrone, Mayo,Cork, Kerry not so sure about Kildare, Derry and Westmeath. But it would rule out Donegal, Monaghan, Cavan, Down, Meath, Galway etc.

Byanton I see your logic . But I'd rather be Donegal Monaghan down Meath than Westmeath ( no offence) but I think all them will advance further. Plus two of those may have already been promoted and div 1 didn't really do much good to Kildare down Donegal this year whereas Tyrone were around same as last year when they in div 2 . Apart from the big 4 Dublin cork mayo Kerry no other team will win all Ire but its how close the chasing pack can get and majority of that chasing pack are in div 2 add Cavan in div 3 and Tyrone and Kildare from div 1 along with Derry and that's where we at. There is as much chance of Meath winning all ire as Tyrone that's why I think they are crazy short odds. Its all about progression next year then maybe following year been in shake up.

I was a big critic of this Mayo team, but I feel they can win Sam next year, they were unlucky against the Dubs. I feel it will be a Cork Mayo final, the dubs are a good team not a great team. Kerry are ranked 4th or 5th a semi for us next year.

Realistically, I think any if 6 can win SAM 2014

Dublin Mayo Kerry Cork Tyrone Donegal

There is plenty of improvement required from most of them to be in contention but id be amazed if anyone else wins it.

Breaking it down by province, Dublin will be odds on but Meath or Kildare could challenge for a Leinster title

Kerry and cork will contest the Munster final. Tipp are most capable if beating 1 but certainly not both.

Mayo will win Connaught again with Galway much closer than this year.

Ulster is more of a lottery. Can't see Monaghan doing two in a row. Would like to think Cavan will continue their progress and could win it but I'd rate Tyrone and Donegal as favourites with down Derry and Armagh capable of beating anyone.
