Well clare dominated this game between both in Ennis earlier this year and would have won only for the fact they shot 16 sides. So ya they have chance. Its a 50/50 game. We have some guys coming back from injury but clare have had more meaningful games under their belt. All in all hard one to call.

Ya we were lucky to win again only for our keeper at the death. That type of performance won't be good enough in the final. Anyway your right about limerick they are the team to beat with Dublin looking like the next best. Up the deise

Congrats to the Waterford minor that defeated Clare by a solitary point . The victory has been acknowledged by counties from all over the country, with a distinct innuendo that Clare was the team they beat. Only your correspondent, Locks , had the honesty to mention that they played against 14 young men in the second half, due to the controversial dismissal of centre field Michael O Malley. Clare found it difficult to settle down in the first half due to the bewildering bounce on the rough surface of Fraher Field. Eamon Fennessy was very insightful when he asked for a change of venue before hand. But it was not to be . Anyway congrats again to Waterford for their victory in adverse Clare circumstances. When Waterford comes to Clare next summer, we will have you play IN kILKISHEN and we will agree to play with 14 just to make it an even contest. If you object to the venue , we will move it to Dr. Tommy Daly Memorial Park in Tulla. I still wonder if ever again we will receive congrats from the whole country.Waterford best of luck to you in the future games

we have what looks like another useful Minor outfit who could go far this year if well-managed.I do sympathise with you Abu.clare
however and say our County Board are a bunch of jokers to set Dungarvan for the game. Fact is Waterford is in dire need of a Central
Stadium to replace 2 absolute dumps but without an investor it is a pipedream. It costs money (what doesn´t ? )but look at Cork who
will shoulder a € 70 million cost -in conjunction with Croke Park and Govt.co-funding-we can learn from them if only we open our eyes.
The County of Michael Collins were always a smart number in Ireland.
It is a pity ,Abu.clare that our victory is tainted by this issue and ,as a true W supporter, my genuine sympathy. Thanks for your
sporting comments of support.

This was Clare's second chance this year and they couldn't do it. We will go wherever Clare take us in the future. Last year when Dungarvan was called off the rematch went to Walsh Park and Clare were hammered. Little bit of sour grapes in earlier post from our Clare friend, I suspect.

Waterford lost to Tipp in first round at home in 2013, so i wouldn't read too much into one performance. Tipp and Cork are supposed to be the stand out teams in Munster at minor level this year and we should really have beaten Tipp in Thurlas. Physically its a small team but they have quality throughout the team maybe not as good as 2013 but the Limerick game will tell us alot. The main thing is to stay competitive each year and at least give yourself a chance of winning something. Hopefully gone are the days where we'd get hammered out the gate at minor level. Deise abu.

you may well be right Pull Hard that Wat. should have won. They performed in any case so it´s back to the drawing-board to build up
maturity and team spirit and "smarts".Anyway Minor results in April are not too reliable-look at KK minors last year.

hope ur right pullhard, we have one more chance to set it right now and were in a semi final against cork, i wonder f the limerick game will be at home? they might toss a coin seen as both sides were away in the first game, were gonna need to find the net in this one, at least twice.

As far as i know we are playing Limerick minors in Limerick and if we get over that game we have Cork at home. Does anyone know if we had a full panel to pick from against Tipp or is there anyone to come back in to contention?
