Hard to know what to take from that game, great comeback from the redhands but playing catch up against a team like Kerry is not a good idea. Nevertheless we lost and Kerry deservedly won and with it retained their div 1 status, was it ever in doubt?

I think Joe Brolly (of all people) summed it up well on twitter: 'Victory not critical for Tyrone today. Might explain their amazingly lacklustre 1st half. When finally got stuck in, were utterly dominant'.

Don't know what McGeeney was doing today, playing everyone out of position in some sort of total football experiment. Did not work.

Still, avoided Dublin in semi-finals. Happy enough. If we are to attempt some sort of ambush in Leinster playing so soon beforehand wouldn't help. Of course we could meet in the final although I doubt Tyrone are too worried about us. The way they ran though Kerry today looks very ominous for our defense.

Low and behold the All Ireland Champions and their multi tasking manager have been sent spinning down to Division 2...
