Of course everyone is going to say their own county so I am not going to be any different ,but with the added return of Heslin I find it hard to see this westmeath team being beaten,if there is a better u21 footballer in the country than John Heslin ...I have yet to see him.

Wish people would stop bigging up John Heslin and putting pressure on him. Massive potential for sure but hes only back in the country a few weeks and is still only 19 I think. All this talk makes him a marked man before he even walks on the pitch.

Westmeath were built up on this thread last year. Where did it get them??

jack maybe building him up will give him confidence,in fairness he's a big lad so is well able to handle himself on a field, and mathew the westmeath only lost by a point to longford last year and heslin was sent off in that game.

Tyrone granted have a chance, but dont rule out Down, could have a sneaky outside chance. Mayobridge unlucky to be defeated by Omagh and a few of those boys will make a great impact on the county side, with the likes of Cormac Linden, son of magnificant Mickey, Ryan Brady

Didn't Heslin get sent off for something stupid when Westmeath were in the driving seat in the Leinster Semi Final last year?

Super, think the Tipp v Kerry match should be very interesting.

Yes it should be interesting alright, Tipp will be strong. Our lads aren't going well judging by recent challenge matches but you never know. I would fancy Cork to come out of Munster again though.

Tyrone and Cork should be fairly handy but the likes of Galway, Dublin, Down, Armagh and Mayo will be there abouts. Longford and Cavan the dark horses to do well. Really dont know what Kerry will be like.

Kerry's U-21s were beaten by 20 points vs Cork last year so they can't be as bad this year?

He can stand up for himself!! He also cost them against Longford when he got sent off for the minors. But a wonderful talent.

Well are Dublin brilliant or are Laois rubbish, 2-21 0-4??!

Dublin are a fairly decent team at this level... some very promising talent there.

Laois werent up to much... heads went down after the start we got... fantastic start really. Fair play to the lads for having that drive from the throw in...

But that was the end of the game. Laois heads went down early and then it was really childs play after that.

This was U-21 here... not under 16's. Had to remind myself of that at times...
