A BallyB man I meet yesterday showed me a match programme for the Polo Grounds in NY, he even had Mick Finucanes, Eddie Dowling and Jack Lynes autograph on the team page. What a team that was and only for the ref we would have won that iconic final handy!

Just after finding it online, Jesus wept but that is some horrid load of dung.

Can you imagine the money the Sindo are throwing at him every week to come out with this manure.

It would make you sick - all those young journalists who can't make a career in the industry and getting pittance for what they produce or having to write in blogs for nothing in the vain hope of making a profile for themselves.

I'm glad you found it the hermit coz I wouldn't know how to articulate that article (if that's what you'd call it ) it's pure childish drivel and that's being insulting to children.

Like you say all the great young journalists must be sickened when the see what passes for good writing these days.

Who do ye fancy on Sunday lads Crokes remind me of a team just going through the motions the Bishop Moynihan is only a stepping stone now it's the Club 2 in a row that is the carrot - it's hard to look betond them but in saying that the boys from the south have amassed a nice panel of players who have at various stages in their careers donned the green and gold if Kerry - this match will be close A lot closer than many think and I wouldn't rule out the southern boys rattling the Crokes but still one would have to fancy the KILLARNEY boys but just about - Killiann Young is a huge loss here in this regard, issue is though if the black and amber boys progress it will hinder the prospects of the likes if Gavin White and Shane Murohy getting a run out in the McGrath Cup and Co League .

On another matter was talking to the wife yesterday and she asked the question - has there ever been a female coach at intercounty leveand not women's football the senior county set up- as far as I am aware there never has been or even a club level strange considering in the late 80's Kerry won wax it 9 in a row surely at least one of those ladies from one if those panels had the football brain to govern. Fair point so why not happening - any female posters interested in taking up the debate - where's MooMoo when you wanted her

Was moo moo a woman horse? I always thought moomoo was a man I don't know why.

Ya I'd have to tip the crokes as they are some team and are raring to go and ya you're right a long run in the club championship could do white and Murphy out of a shot with the senior team.

On another note I watched the Anthony foleys documentary last night and I saw where Munster brought in a director of rugby to help axel by taking a lot of the day to day stuff off him and let him concentrate on coaching , does any of ye think this could be a good thing for the Kerry county board to look at to help fitzmaurice?

Hah just saw Mike Quirke's piece in the Examiner defo worth a read. A far more articulate writer and someone that still has a medal collection Brolly could only dream about and he only a sub most of the time!

Can't ever remember any female club or county manager in the mens game Horse. I suppose it's a hell of a glass ceiling, sure there's never been any female coach in mens rugby or soccer that I ever heard of.

I've meet Katie Liston a few times, she was part of the tail end of that Kerry team and she would be a well know sports science academic based in UU these days but even she didn't go down coaching route

ah I could be wrong I always assumed MooMoow as a woman.. jez could be wrong though - agree with your assessment of a director of football style role to take the heat off Fitz, Dublin have a backroom set up that requires a team bus of its won.

It's definitely something that should be looked into if it hasn't been before horse, I know e haven't a bean because of the centre of excitement but surely we could get someone to do it on a voluntary basis until we're back on our feet, I don't know maybe our chairman is fulfilling the roll at the minute as I do see him on the sideline at times.

As for the lady coaches none spring to mind at all ,
