Well said Booboo it was poor form on the part of the players to get the lad sent off. And same with the rest of your comments well said.

I'm delighted Donegal lost but I'm afraid we are going to see lots more of their style of puke anti-football in years to come. They have just had their most succesful season since winning the all-Ireland in 1992 so they are definitely going to stick with their system. I expect that many other counties will copy them too. I honestly think that in another year or two, gaelic football will be completely unwatchable. In the long run, this crap is going to kill the game.

when armagh used the blanket defence in 2002 and won the all-ireland no one complained, most people admired them for using it. Im not a fan of the blanket defence but Jim McGuinness is and he has the choice whether his team uses it or doesnt so donegal shouldnt be slated for using it. It got them to an all ireland semi final and almost a final so it works against teams who do not prepare properly to play against it but dublin had the brains to go down easily under challenges in scoring positions when they got the ball inside and when you are bernard brogan its not that hard to get frees

Did Donegal play like that for a bet? Or did someone double dare them? Dragging, diving and refusing to attack.

Niall Carew was right about their cynicism. Thankfully Murphy's radar was off or the road back would've been too far for the Dubs.

Donegals tactics blah blah blah, thats all very obvious but if McFaddens shot had gone under they would of won, simple as that.

No sympathy for Connolly. He really let himself and the team down. As I stated elsewhere striking = red card whether its a slap or a punch. He deserved it end of.
Dire game but football won in the end

Thank God again that Dublin won. I hope we are never again subjected to that kind of ... (I can't use the word that would properly describe what we've just watched). I hope the powers that be change the rules to ensure that never again have we to witness more than 200 hand passes in a game of football. Another point that result painted up the injustices done to Kildare this year by poor refereeing, it would have been a lot more enjoyable match to watch for one thing if we were there and who knows maybe even a different result, Kildare scored 10 points against Donegal in ordinary time.

51 - equally obvious and a lot more irrelevant. We're discussing the game, you hardly expect us to ignore the central theme of the match and talk about imaginary scores

Hardly irrelevant as it proves their tactics despite the response they are getting could of easily have landed them in an AI final

Have to say its an awful pity were werent there today. It would of been a fascinating game instead of that rubbish. Revenge would of been sweet. Carew was well on the spot when yee talked about Donegal cynical fouling. Alot of mind games played by them today, didnt like the way the ran off from the parade either, something should be done to make the players march the full pitch. Glad their tactics and bad sportsmanship that was played against Kildare and the Dubs today didnt come up thrumps,Its a pity it wasnt highlighted enough at the time Kildare played them, had we won by 1 maybe it would of been, but we were told we were sore losers when we even mentioned it.

Some people get sick of watching Kerry winning but at least they always play football the right way not like that pathetic attempt to play the game today

yea even though it was a bad defensive game of football donegal left this game after them in the first 20 min. if they had a decent freetaker they would be 5 or 6 points up at halftime and out of reach. nobody mentioned yet when lacy went off injured thats when the game turned in dubs favour,as for connolly he did strike with a fist which is a red card as he should be taken off anyway 4 he did nothing all day. hope he is back for the kerry game

Would the Kildare boys ever shut up.... no one cares anymore!

In every match this year bar the Cavan game it was the goals won it for them. They only scored 6 points against Tyrone also. Anyway, I was backing them today but I'm glad they're out all the same. Hopefully we'll be able to put te country out of it's misery a bit earlier next year.

51 - it is irrelevant because McFadden missed. No foul. No bad call. A miss. Dublin had a near miss too. Is that eelevant?

Donegal lost fair and square. Their tactics were not shown to be successful, exactly the opposite is true.

Mayo had a few misses last week too. Does that mean Horan's tactics were also successful? Nope
