"Damo, I was out in Parnells on New Years for the two Dubs/Blue Stars games and the bar was packed with people stuffing themselves and watching Man U. If that constitutes 'social membership' they are welcome to it."

Its like that every weekend, its got huge bars and function rooms - always full. Their All weather soccer pitch is a great money spinner too. They've sports clinics, laundries etc etc

Cuala would also be one of the biggest clubs around, close to 100 teams all told I believe

The phrase more money than sense springs to mind. What will they do with it when they have given up trying to win Dublin SFC with a lot of has beens ???

Interesting Setup??? A total of 2 Adult Football and 2 Adult Hurling teams. Thats not a club thats a business.

HurlingDub..............Parnells, not the most popular club in Dublin. hear Cluxton has choosen to play with the 2nd team, not the 1st!!

Brigid's in Roscommon have a huge pick there. Corofin have about half of Galway then as well.


Ya true enough. It is killing competition in these counties also. Not good for the game. Im not that bothered that the mayo clubs can only beat them the odd time, as we have different clubs coming out all the time.
