Fatboy!

Can you provide actual pitch size, ie playing area, not run off areas or grass areas. Otherwise the figures
are not a true reflection on pitch size.

Cheers

There's a few quare sized and shaped pitches in Dublin that I'd say are under and over the regulation size. O'Tooles main pitch always seemed ridiciously long and wide to me although maybe it just felt like that :- ( Then there was Stars of Erin in Glencullen where you couldn't see one goalpost from the other end!

I think a lot of it is to do with how wide a sideline there is, it gives the feeling its more open as there's greater distance between supporters and field of play. So a 142 x 88 with 5 metre sideline could give the effect of a 145x 95

no hard data but

McHale is described as Quite narrow while tuam is described(officially) as rather narrow.

I hope this helps?

By "Louth's Drogheda Park" I assume you mean The Gaelic Athletic Grounds in Drogheda, if so...

My updated stats are 137.8m x 83m, quite small by inter county standard, but they are not county grounds...
