Yes .

Trust Paddy to bring up a bit of nonscense regarding Celtic . Everyone knows Celtic was founded by Irish living in Scotland . Brother Walfrid ( from Sligo ) created the club as a means of raising funds for the poor and deprived of the Glasgow East End . Everyone knows Celtic is regarded as a Irish-Scottish side it doesnt need to written on a sheet of paper .
Regarding the European Cup , Celtic are based in Scotland so it would be a ludacrious statement to have " Celtic first Irish team to win the Euroopean Cup " . Cop yourself on

32_4_1 County: Meath Posts: 1109 447030 saying celtic are british is like saying nationalists in the north are british. they aint they say it on their website as part of getting rid of the sectarianism in the scottish league. they have to make an effort sometimes and to rub it into the likes of man u, rangers etc. but look at the irish flag in celtic park. i never see a union jack there (the british flag). why is it celtic wear green and white instead of blue red and white. why do they have a clover as their crest. why do their fans wave irish fans now you can argue if they are irish or not but they are at least scottish and not british just as someone in the north is irish and not british There efforts to get rid of sectarianism seems to be vain if they have you supporting them. The irony is why you dont support an irish soccer team.

No because they would be wayyy more hassle than they are worth. Nationalism is a load of old cobblers anyways. What does it matter where your born. I fyou were born in Scotland you would be a proud Scot, but you just happened to be born in Northern Ireland so you are a British subject also...so what....get over it.
